Spearhead 1944 introduces some of the best and most unique WW2 assets available for ArmA, at a reasonable price. The Normandy map is incredible and provides some of the most interesting fighting environments I've fought in to date. The campaign is incredible and provides operational control to the players instead of being completely railroaded.

Lack of assets is not an issue. You have several different variants of the Sherman, two scarcely seen tank destroyers which are sorely missing from any WW2 mod, a series of incredibly detailed and functional halftracks, a rarer Sherman variant taking up the role of artillery, a highly detailed P-47, most of the major firearms used by the US and Germany, a highly detailed tiger - and much more. Just because there is no Panther or the shiddenfardenpanzerwagen xvii ausf b (t) does not mean there is a lack of assets. I do hope the development team keeps updating the DLC.

I highly recommend the CDLC to anyone with a vague interest in WW2 - if you're just here for nazi larp, you're going to be sorely disappointed.
