It is YuGiOh with a ban list that leans more into the OCG (japanese rule set) than the TCG (the american rule set). There is nothing wrong on the technical side with the game and the music is pretty good.

The set up is more like a mobile game since it is free-to-play but the prizes, other than the cards themselves, are very lackluster. Everything thing else lies in this simple question: Do you like to play modern YuGiOh?

Most of the problems people list lie in the format of the modern game than the actually program of Master Duel, which is the best of any online YuGiOh game IMO. Just do your research of if you want to play YuGiOh in the modern day, if you do Master Duel is the best way to do so.
