It is well acted, well written, well shot, and well designed. Is this game pure wish fulfillment? Of course it is! I didn't spend 7 USD to be challenged by a complex story with wild twists and turns; I spent 7 USD to spend 5 hours being relentlessly shoved into positions where I have to pick which hot and interesting Asian women that is lusting after me I want to reciprocate the advances of and which I want to turn down. If you aren't down like Donkey Kong with this gameplay experience, leave now. If this sounds like a great way to spend 5 hours (and you know how to set a steam purchase to private), allow me to quickly detail why this title is worth significantly more than the asking price.


All six women are perfectly type-casted for their roles. I have no clue how this was pulled off by the director, but somehow all the actors perfectly depict the personality of their characters, both through line delivery and body language. The acting is just exaggerated enough to give the piece maximum fantasy appeal while not irrevocably breaking immersion.


One simple objective the writers had here is to make a storyboard that maximizes the amount of interaction you get with the MC women. This is achieved. They other, more important, objective the writers had was to create arcs for each woman that were super tailored to the character and also maximized the wish fulfillment sensation. This is even more than achieved. The writing shocked me in fun it was to experience, and it absolutely nails the tone you want in this type of title.


The camera work is bordering on too good. The POV angle is way too good. Probably should be regulated to prevent overdose. It makes the exceptionally well-written self-insert MC a breeze to insert into in such a way that made me question my mental well-being. Set design is surprisingly quite good as well.


The game part of the VN has a handful of features that I think range from decently designed to perfectly designed. The game has a storlyline feature that easily lets you visualize all the branches of the story you can explore, and easily jump to parts you want/need to replay. The affection system, which operates exactly how you are thinking, is a great way to make choices impactful. On the plus side though, because the storyline interface lets you rerun any part of the story on demand, you can easily jump back to go get an item from a branch you didnt explore, and then return to the spot you left off at


If you are at this steam store page as a member of the target demographic for this title, just buy it and give it a run through. It is a great experience for the money and you can easily get 8-10 hours of fun out of it if you want to see all the endings.

This is an extremely promising auto-battler. Tons of mechanical and strategical depth already at launch, an innumerable amount of viable strategies, great replay-ability, and to top it all off, the art is fabulous.

Cyberpunk 2077 has been a momentous return to player-first rpg design in the industry. The game truly allows the player to choose how they want to interact with the combat, characters, and world. The robust mod support has truly taken this game over the top, and any doubts present only launch day seem like only an incredibly distant memory.
