BO7 reminds me BO3 all over again.
- underwhelming campaign (way better than MW III tho)
- really good multiplayer (fast paced (but not super fast paced like BO6) with advanced movement)
- really good zobies / dead ops (OG crew is back, zombies feel like zombies and not warzone zombies)

BO7 feels like the best CoD since BO3 in terms of mp and zombies but we have to wait to see if it will remain like this throughout the whole year. The game feels nothing like BO6 which is a good thing (unlike MW III which felt like 70$ DLC)

If you enjoyed Vertigo 2, you will 100% enjoy this DLC. That's all I'll say about it ;)

But hell, after playing this DLC I really hope we will see one day Vertigo 3.

If there's one thing I don't like about this DLC, it's the dialogue from several characters that is only done through subtitles. It works fine in cutscenes and chill moments, but not during boss fights. Reading shaky subtitles during chaotic moments in VR is the last thing you want to do.

Who would have thought that giving developers proper time to develop the game is a good thing

It feels so good to have a great cod title again.

The campaign is must play and definitely the best campaign in any call of duty in terms of gameplay, variety and legth. The first 3 missions are a little bit slower but the rest of the game is action packed af. Really give the campaign a chance, you'll thank me later.

A remake how it should be. Yeah there are few bugs but not something game breaking. The whole game plays so better now and looks beutiful even on low settings. And I have to give a big respect to the Vertigo Games for decision to offer OG players to get the full game + all dlcs for 10$

I've been hyped for this game since the announcement day. But it needs to stay a little bit in the oven.
MADiSON VR will constanly remind you that this game wasn't designed for VR and that it is a port with lot of mechanics that works on PC but doesn't work in VR.

Let's start with positives:
+ Holy f##k this game is scary. This really is the scariest VR game I've ever played or seen.
+ The game looks fenomenal in terms of graphics and it feels real. I don't have the strongest PC (GTX 1080 ti, i7 8700) so I played the game on Low settings first but because the FPS weren't the best I tried to turn the settings even lower. That switched the settings into Ultra and I decided to atleast look how the game looks in VR on that settings. And it was day and night change. What I don't understand tho is that on Ultra settings the game runs better for me than on Low settings. But maybe that's because I changed the resolution. It seems like that only changes the resolution of the window on PC but not in VR. I am not 100% sure about that tho. But if you can play this game on Ultra settings, do it.
+ The polaroid feature works great in VR + you can equip a few skins from the menu on it (unlike in PC version where the skins are locked behind DLC). It would be nice if we could hold the polaroid with both hands but that's just a tiny detail that has no impact on the gameplay.
+ I like how you can see your entire arms and not just floating hands like in most VR games. It's way more immersive

Now the negatives:
- The VR control is clunky and unreliable. It happened to me many times that I want to grab something but I either couldn't or it didn't happen on first try. Example: In the room where you get the polaroid, there is a drawer with a key. I tried to open it but the character either drop the handle or didn't grab it at all. And when I finally managed to grab it, I couldn't open it. So I assumed that the drawer is locked (this was after the section where you take the picture of the painting that you put on the wall). So I spent 25 MINUTES walking back and forth trying to figure out what am I supposed to. Than I gave up and looked on YT and to my surprise, the key I needed for opening the door was in that drawer I couldn't open -_-. So I tried to open it again and after 8th attempt it finally worked.
- You can't use both hands at the same time. For example is you hold the polaroid in your dominant hand and with your other hand you want to open the door, you can't. You have to hide the polaroid into backpack and than open the door with your dominant hand. And this applies for more interactions. This needs to be fixed asap
- Scrolling through items in inventory is extremely slow
- If you pick any item (besides polaroid) your movement is blocked. You have to hide the item in your backpack or drop it in order to be able to move again

This game has huge potentional but the controls is sinking it to the bottom. For now I will leave a negaive review but I really hope that the devs will fix the VR controls soon so I can change the negative review into a possitive one.

The game is smooth and fun. But I can't reccomend it.

The price of 30$€ is way too much for what this game is and for how much content is there. I bought the game in sale for 21€ (which is btw for the first time this game was on any sale on Steam. Yes, 7 months after release) and this is still way too much. The real price of this game is around 10-15€, not 30€.

I would say that the price is the main reason why this game is dead. The average player count goes from 8-50 players per day.

Not mentioning the game includes expensive microtransactions, is filled up with cheaters and absolutely toxic children who screams slurs all the time.

This game has a potentional. But the price has to go down and content needs to be added.

Conclusion: Refund

Early Access Review
I have to say that I am impresed how much these devs listen to the community. Almost everything I complained on the release day was fixed. The game is not perfect but it's decent and fun now.

8/10

Old review:

Take this game down from Steam and do a complete rework. I ve never played something that bad as this game.

Let's talk about the positive side of this game:
+ The graphics looks really good and runs well in VR
+ Voice acting is acceptable
+ Guns sound are okay
+ Gun models look really good, although some of them are badly scaled for VR but they are not immersion breaking (this is because the game was developed primarily on PSVR 2 and it's controllers, which are bigger in size, so the weapon handeling would feel better)

aaaaaand that's pretty much it...

The negatives:
1) Gameplay: (I've played total of 5 campaign missions and 3 co-op missions)
- The gameplay is extremly repetitive and boring. This game feels like a 2016-2017 VR title, not a 2023 title. The whole gameplay loop is as follows, you go to the first objective where the game locks you into small arena (with the most nonsensical invisible walls I've ever seen) for about 5 minutes where you face off waves of terrible AI enemies with terrible animations, after that you move on to the second objective, repeat the whole process all over again and that's it "mission accomplished". And the same thing goes for co-op missions aswell with the difference being that you start at the end of a campaign mission and move back to the start.
- There is no finger tracking support
- If you want to have stabilized aim or you want to use a sniper rifle you have to press the trigger button with your non-dominant hand to zoom the weapon closer to your face (in terms of sniper rifles you have no other choice)
- In every mission you have 2 weapons the whole mission. You can't pick up enemy weapons and if you find a weapon that you can use, you won't be able to place it into your inventory
- There is no way to turn off the HUD unless you unlock the realism mode after you finish the whole campaign. Who thought this is a good idea?
- Difficulty balancing is done very poorly. I tried to play the game on the hightest difficulty and the only difference between it and lower diff is that the enemies have much more hp. There is no impact on ammo economy, your hp or damage, etc.
- The soundtrack doesn't fit for the setting. It is loud metal music that would fit more into a biker style game. It sounds awfull and is very badly mixed into the overall audio.
- There is an abnoxious yellow line leading you to the next objective and it is always present, with every level being smaller than an everage Counter-Strike map, I think this is an unaccaptable design decision to be kept on higher difficulties.
- (FIXED) Currently there is no mission accomplished screen after any mission. The only way to know that you finished a mission is by a sound. Then you have to open menu and go back to the firing range
- You can't access options menu when you are in a mission

2)Campaign:
- In the beggining of every mission you spawn in a black void where you listen to dialogue (in some mission they are up to 15-20 seconds long)
- First mission takes about 10 seconds where you have to move from point A to point B without shooting a single bullet (that's literally everything)
- All 5 campaign mission I managed to handle are 1:1 the same. Small map and tower defense with invisible walls.
- Each mission takes about 5-10 minutes
- The level design feels like it is done by an AI with invisible walls being placed everywhere player would think he/she could explore
- Friedly AI is completly useless because they just stare at the enemy without shooting most of the time (and the same goes often for enemy AI aswell)
- You can't shoot with your weapon if there is any scripted sequence being played

3) Co-op
- Campaign levels but even worse. That's all I will say.

Issues that can be fixed:
- (FIXED) the angle of weapon holding on Index controllers is terrible and because all two handed weapons have absolutely ridicilus recoil if you hold the weapon with only one hand, you have to bend your wrist to be able to aim with the weapon and it is very uncomfortable and painful
- There isn't manual reloading. What you do is grab a magazine out of nowhere (because you don't have a visible magazine pouch so all you have to do is to just press trigger button to spawn magazine in your hand) and bring it close to the weapon. That's it. Manual reloading was replaced by really bad looking animations that don't belong into VR industry and are the main reason why this game feels so unimmersive. You don't even need to grab the weapon with your second hand because your VR hand will automaticly grab the weapon by it self everytime after the reload animation plays.
- (FIXED) If you crouch irl and walk in a game, your character will stand up even if you move slightly forward which means you can't take effective cover and you will always be exposed to the enemies.
- There is no option for light grip on Index controllers

This game is not worth 26€ and I wouldn't even play this game if it was free to play.

It's really dissapointing to see this title turn out to be one big overpriced lie. Unfortunatelly this can't be fixed by few updates. Even if we will have weapon interaction and bug fixes the level design will remain the same. I've been really excited to finally have a proper Call of Duty style co-op shooter in VR. This game is not worth your time or your money (Play Vertigo 2 for the same price instead and actually experience a masterpiece VR single player title). Like I said, in a year 2016-2017 this game would be successful. But not in 2023...

I am sorry to say this, but this game won't save future updates. This game needs a complete rework from the ground up.

Best VR pvp shooter on the market. Caveman Studio really showed us how to make a proper VR games.

+ smooth gameplay
+ graphics
+ free movement (including sliding and jumping)
+ gun models
+ full body
+ mod support (custom loadouts, maps, modes, etc - this is the best thing that can Contractors have)
+ price
+ content

The only downside is in gun sounds and more complicated inventory

But I still have to give this game a 10/10
