This game hits every mark in terms of visuals, graphics and gameplay. It's a love letter to the old stlye cartoons and never once did anything feel out of place or that it didn't belong. The controls are tight and never do you feel you got hit or died because of bad controls. The graphics are animated so smoothly even for an art style to be in 60fps it is candy to the eyes and the music is top grade satisfaction.

Even with the game being as hard as it is I never got frustracted at dying not even once because the way that it is designed to show your progress of how far you were to beating the boss gives that 'one more try' mentality and doesn't bring frustration. Hurry up and play this.

This is an early access game hidden as a full released game.

-High majority of bugs which still since release have not been fixed
-They lied during their beta saying that a lot of the bugs would be fixed by release
-Rushed the game out before E3
-Lazy client side server hosting (which is actually really ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dangerous to YOU as the host can find information of yours if he really wanted to)
-Unbalanced maps, perks, mechanics
-Matchmaking is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ joke
-A punishment system which favors more on the killer
-A highly toxic community (can't really blame them to be fair)

The game is fun but only for so long which is why I put a lot of hours into it. But 80% of that time was just annoying and rage inducing because of how when I mess up it feels like it's the game's fault rather than my own. And once you start to notice the lazy work of the developers (just released a patch, beer time!) it gets to a point where in this day and age I can not see this as acceptable

We're in 2016 and you release an unbelievably buggy game followed by no patches to fix said buggy game weeks into its release. Do yourself a favor and wait for Friday the 13th the game or Last year the game.

An amazing example of how you should not judge a book by its cover and how graphics isn't everything.

Even if you aren't a huge fan of RPGs this game is truly an amazing experience.

Payday 2 (Or as I now call it: Pay2day) is a co-op DLC Simulator shooter that lets you be a mass murdering, money grabbing, masked suit. If this was still 2013 I would tell you that this game is amazing. But this isn't 2013.

Back when the game first came out it was any Payday fan's dream of a sequel. A more expansive game that improved from the first one. But like with a lot of games it can get repetitive with its limit of maps, missions, weapons, etc. So what was Overkill going to do about this? Add a workshop perhaps? No way! That would mean losing out on extra money! Instead Overkill decided that it was time for DLC. At first it was ok, a DLC here, another DLC over there. But then suddenly they started popping up everywhere. With each one it felt like the game was getting swamped, and these things weren't coming out at a slow rate. We now stand with Pay2day having over 15 DLCs. Overkill much? (teehee)

If you wanted to have a good time with Pay2day then the chances are you needed the DLC. A majority of the heists as of now you need to own the DLC for if you want to host or play them solo. Otherwise you're going to have to join a random game with a group of people who will probably kick you anyway. I think Pay2day will always be the best example for DLC done wrong.

We now come up to the recent days of October 2015 where Overkill has now released their newest update: The Pay2day: Global Offensive update. With this update Overkill has made it even more obvious that they want money as they have inserted microtransactions into Pay2day. Keep in mind that it has been said many times in different places (look it up if you wish) that Pay2day would NEVER have any microtransactions. But here we are today. Beautiful, isn't it?

It has now got to the point that if you had the Overkill team as playable characters and the banks were renamed to "Customer's wallets" it would still have the same meaning as it does today. We now sit in the year 2015, 2 years where Pay2day got worse and worse and has finally shoveled its way to the bottom of the pit, and the only way to get out of that pit is if you pay a lovely price of 5.99 for their shovel DLC.

But the sad truth is that people are still going to play this game, and people are still going to buy the DLC. It's the reason we have over 15 DLC's as of today.
