Incredible story, good gameplay, visually beautiful. Feels like a tribute to classic horror films like The Shining and Halloween, with a focus on truth and visual beauty in horror, tinted through a modern lens. I wish it was a little shorter since it just gets better the further in you get, but I think long term this will be a fan favorite.

I like that this game keeps throwing me twists and power. There's real strategy that's evolving the further in I get, and I'm enjoying being surprised at how much more I can plan out combinations and future strategy than I first expected. I encountered a couple light bugs - my score not displaying between rounds, even if it wasn't lost, and I couldn't tell if there was supposed to be background music or not. Nothing terrible, but I'd love to see if this title is a little more polished later. In the mean time, $3 is a steal for what easily took an hour of my free time - and the incentive of unlocking more numbers was surprisingly effective. It was great unlocking a more powerful number and then feeling like a Queen in Chess, flying around the board as long as you planned your moves right. Great stuff!

This game is amazing and you should play it if you like frogs or being a detective (but just for fun)

Dang - well that was a great 15min. Frenchie - why did you make such a sweet game so short? I'd love to play more, I'm already falling for all the characters.

EDIT: As a review for others - this is really a 15min demo more than a full game, but it's got a lot of heart and hits a lot of beats right. Definitely recommended for the quick demo that it is. Covers the medical field really nicely in a way I've not seen before. Only complaint is that there's not more and that the finale screen is "Alt + F4 to quit" lol.

Dear Meny, this was a wonderful little game. I loved that it was short, sweet, and well worth my time. I'd love to play more little titles like this. My only complaint is that I spent too much money on a 4k monitor once, and the graphics range from 480p to 8k friendly. I can't tell why, but some graphics are really low res at 2160p and others look amazing.

Cute story. Fun gameplay. Respected my time. For a game this short, I'd give it a 5/5. I love what I got from it for the short period I did. Can't wait to see what you do next.

The first thing you must understand about this game is that you gain information and navigate by using the mouse and WASD keys to move your feet and camera angle to change the game's audio visuals. The second thing you must understand is that the first thing is the basis of solving all puzzles. Once you understand that, this beautiful botanical garden of an island is one of the most enjoyable puzzle boxes you will ever solve - it just requires some patience, and continuously thinking critically about abstracting yourself out of your previous expectations and mindsets. Enjoy!

Excellent piece - Beasts of Maravilla Island is a small, but concise and thoroughly executed game. Take one part nature-loving Pokemon Snap, add a camera and some lite climbing inspired by BotW, and round it out with a calmly paced story similar to Journey, all to create this bite size indie accomplishment. I really enjoyed my time with the game, and felt the price was a bargain for the 2-3hrs of high quality play I got out of it, and my only complaint is wishing there was more to go back to (but I never felt like it was lacking in content either - they even have rewards after you win).

Beasts is a great accomplishment by the team. I've followed their work for a while, and this is another high quality entry. I look forward to any future updates or other games from the team, but in the meantime, I can highly recommend this one!

How does this have such few reviews? A strong and elegantly formatted, polished 2-3hr experience. Great, heavy choices. Real impact. Fun writing - even in a year of a real pandemic, if a little rough for that reason. (I guess we got UFOs last year too!)

I have never been so quickly swayed to fall in love with mechanics I had never seen before. It radically altered the format of murder mystery gameplay and, while only two hours, polished the game design so each level matches these new mechanics in quality. I’ve never seen a game value my time this much in introducing a new system or genre, and I hope it inspires more like it.

Forget the 2hr haters - they are valid if you want games to fill your time. But if you are squeezed for time and want the most bang per minute spent, the quality and newness combination are unrivaled. Highly recommended for the busy gamer looking for innovation (and the voice acting and writing is great too). Lucifer Within Us targets a niche audience, and does it exceptionally well.

Murder mystery gamers looking for concise, quality innovation? I hope you give this game a try - I found it completely worthwhile.
