I really enjoyed the story of this game, it only took me 30 to finish it on standard difficulty, and i don't see a great deal more play time in my future but over all, well worth the price.

the graphics are polished, the story is great, it really is a chill game, some good relaxation and stress relief tearing apart ships, as long as you process something on each shift you can take your time.

not really anything negative to say about the game from me, the only points of nuisance are part of the story and are solved through progression.

9/10 would buy again

Early Access Review
Ignore all the negative reviews, there all people that dont understand what Early Access Means.
This is the review you want to read.

The game is Visually beautiful on High graphics, the terrain is crisp the cloud layers feel real, however i only have an Nvidia Quadro P5000, there is real benchmark for it as an enterprise gpu focused on VRAM, but it fares pretty well on medium graphics.

Regardless of slowdown on higher Graphics the game still feels smooth just a slightly lower frame rate.

The Gameplay is still buggy and requires periodic restarts, i have had 1 CTD (Crash to Desktop) in my 10 hours(at time of posting) but overall its still fun, some QOL features from KSP1 are missing but this is still early access and 2 days after launch and there is still lots of time to get the base game stable before all the amazing planed content.

The fact that the game is buggy means that when i got my first space station into orbit and docked an expansion to it the feeling of accomplishment was that much greater, saying that makes it seem like you have to fight the game as well as gravity during your first launch but thats not the case, it feels during long play sessions things become more difficult to fly but a swift reboot fixes most of those issues and you can get right back to it.

in the coming weeks most of the game breaking issues will be fixed its all about patience right now, know that buying the game this early in development is an investment, your investing in the team that is working on KSP2 and your return will be an amazing space exploration sim with hours and hours of fun, alone or with friends.

In Conclusion, the game is off to a great start and has alot of potential, but if your looking for a complete and well polished gaming experience, wait few months before picking this one up, anyone that can find enjoyment around the bugs and/or would like to assist the development with constructive feedback go buy the early access and get stuck in, Early access games thrive on feedback from the player base.

I may be bias because i do love starwars, space and "magic" (the force). but 10/10, loved every second of the game. the story is predictable, but its starwars, and it didn't quite go the way i expected but it was close enough and absolutely thrilling.
Key Points
The visuals are beautiful.
The combat is simplified compared to things like the force unleashed with its 30 million combos, easy to master.
Combat system is extremely well thought out, not overloaded with crazy maneuvers, with what is available you can develop your own crazy combos that look amazing.
Puzzles are thought provoking and challenging but not impossible to figure out without a guide.
Difficulty can be changed when not in combat so if you hit a though boss, lower difficulty and enjoy the story, turn it back up after did this for 1 or 2 of the boss fights.
Engaging story that isn't full of holes.

Complaints
Non. there was one time i got stun-locked by a group of 5 enemies in a corner. but managed to make use of an Aerial strike to break the lock and win the combat, i can imagine it may have happened to other more often as some times you do get swarmed by the enemy, make use of different stances to handle groups

All in all loved the game, il be clouding my save so when im ready to replay the story again il dive into story+ and enjoying it again. if you like this style of game, or just enjoy a good starwars story i recommend

Enjoy, May the Force be with you

Early Access Review
I played this game a few years ago before it was "playable" and it had a brand new feel compared to the previous games, thats neither bad nor good, however as it have continued its development it has reverted back towards similar interfaces to the previous. Some of the changes from previous games have really pushed this game to a level above, some of the laboriousness has been taken away, your no longer required to sit in lengthy council meetings and court proceedings allowing you to work on your dynasty as things unfold politically, your just required to open a menu and vote, it has become a background activity.

many other tasks can now be loaded into production windows so you as the player dont have to grind you can focus on new ventures, or dominating your rivals with slightly less micro-management.

i did however get the game believing that Steam Cloud was available allowing me to switch between systems i use seamlessly and continue my adventure but alas it does not come as advertised so i am likely to refund this game if i dont find a prompt fix to my issue, at least until it is steam cloud compatible.

I only have the base game, got it in a bundle I think, but I'm not totally sure, either way. The game is enjoyable and challenging but really lacking content. Oh but there is expansions and DLC my friend... Yes I hear you, but to buy the expansions for 30x what I think I paid for the base game, or 6x what the game costs now. feels like a money grab, if the base game did not feel so lacking in content to begin with I may be willing to buy the expansion. It has only been able to earn 50/60 hours of game time from me, that's how long it took for me to get bored, however similar games like Europa universalis has hundreds of hours of game time, and I have seriously considered buying the DLC. I would not recommend this game due to the disappointing lack of content in my personal opinion, if the DLC was more reasonably priced, or the base game had a little more to it, my opinion may be different.
