I'm not sure what all the hype is about. There was nothing that wowed me about the game except that I couldn't even watch the opening cinematic, it locked up several times before I had to force quit it. Restarted my rig (i9 32GB RAM) and the opening movie still looked like a slide show. I let it sit, and it finally caught up (?) and I was able to play.
Once in game, the graphics were.... just ok. Not very impressive at all. Like literally 2007 graphics. (I just played Crysis for nostalgia's sake, and they're about as good as that.)
I'm a KB+M player so the control's were kinda just meh. You can tell this is meant to be played on a controller. While it's playable, it's a weird button dance to get the combos and all that. Also, you can't jump --also weird (at least in the campaign).
Even the beginning of the campaign is just.. well, boring.
And then the absurdly long load times. What's with that? Losing connection from the server because of it.
If you want a repetitive hack and slash Duke Nuke em type experience, then this is for you.

Man, this is an amazing game.
Story - Fantastic.
Graphics - Good.
Controls - ok (I don't usually play these types of games so I'm not sure what I should be expecting)

This game is more like you're playing a movie (sometimes it feels more like 3 movies). You make (sometimes tough) choices that have real consequences on your characters and the story.

Kill them? Spare them? Leave them behind? Rescue them? Give up or fight?

This game will have you questioning what you think you believe.

Great game. I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for a story rich game.

The Good:
-Graphics are decent.
-The movement system is pretty good, doesn't feel clunky.
-Weapon customization is ok (why is it you can always only equip 5 things in most games?).

The bad:
-The UI is crap.
- In-game Menu systems are crap.
-None of your stuff from MW2 or 3 transfers over (except for warzone).
-Hackers everywhere. The anti-cheat is so bad that the hackers don't even try to hide it.
-Maps are boring. Horribly designed, small square maps.
-EASILY get spawn camped to no end. It seems to be the objective for most players now, and the devs have literally done nothing to counteract it in any way.
-PC players seemingly have gotten nerfed.
-The aim-assist is WAY WAY WAY overpowered. It literally looks like an aimbot.
-Console players think they're good... bahahah

Gun meta sucks. My 9mm sidearm does more damage than my rifle? Cool.. /rolleyes
Hit markers in hardcore mode? WTH? Sucks.
Zombies is ok. Round based. Preferred the open world DMZ zombies.

All in all, I wouldn't recommend this game.
I only got it to play with friends and it was on sale; even then I feel like it was a waste of money.

The game is just ok. It's not great by any means. Graphics are nice, the characters are interesting enough I suppose. Controls on KB+M kinda suck.
Movement is SUPER clunky. It's like you're at a 3.5MPH jog all the time. No sprint, no nothing that doesn't take 20+seconds to recharge. Kinda meh.

I tend to play games more like CoD so the "feel" of it is just way too slow. Fights are ok, at best. The recharge on everything blows. Reloading a magic staff? huh? O.o Weird. The spread on the guns is horrendous. You pretty much have to be right up on your enemy to with rocket for his minigun to actually do damage. Punishers guns are super weak. Some characters are melee only. Dumb. I dunno. I wanted to like this game but it's not really all that fun to play.

I probably wont play it again.

Fun free to play game. Good action. Good player physics. Adds a new dimension with the portals. Check it out!

Awesome metal pack. Some great tunes. Great for any metal fan.

Couple of things.
First: These songs are in B and A tuning. Your regular gauge strings (9-42, or whatever) are going to get REALLY floppy and loose. The best gauge I found for playing these super low tunings is 12-56. They're super thick and maintain proper string tension' DO NOT raise them any thing above a C tuning.

Second: Set your intonation. You'll get missed notes because your guitar is out of tune.

So I saw this game on sale (Thanksgiving) and figured, ah what the hell, why not? It looks like fun, and if it sucks, no big deal since it was cheap. Well, here it is not even 4 months later, and I have 5 guitars. O.o (All but 1 have Floyd Rose tremolo's so they're all different tuning)
I really dig this game. It's a lot of fun, and it keeps the learning part fun. Patience is key though. You dive right in and want to jam out to some crazy track, aaaaand that's when you realize, you need LOTS of practice to be able to play like that. But if you stick at it, you can do it. 62 hours into it, and most of the rhythm tracks I play, I manage to get 60+% first try. Learned a couple songs. I'm constantly improving though.

I'd highly recommend this game to someone that once, long ago, sometime in the past, fiddled around with a guitar but never really got into it but wanted to.

There's many pro's to this game. Visual guided lessons to various guitar techniques. The mini-games are fun enough. Helps you memorize chords, practice slides, scales, bends, and other stuff.
Unlocks. The more you play, and the more you succeed, the more songs they give you. You can also trade in your Uplay bucks (whatever they're called) for more songs. The available DLC is tremendous. There's something for everyone out there.

Not many cons to this game.
Biggest gripe is note detection. Sometimes it detects a wrong note when the right one is played, or doesn't register it at all. Doesn't happen all the time, but happens enough to be a little bit annoying. I don't get overly bent out of shape about it.
The disappearing notes when you've "mastered" them. You have to go into the settings to change it so the notes don't disappear.
And of course bends. It's like, bend the note one octave, and it has you pull them so far, that they're about to snap.
Also, if you can play fairly well, and follow it well, the level accelerates very quickly, almost too quickly.

All in all, it's a great game. I'd recommend it to anyone that's looking to pick up a guitar. While it may not completely teach you how to play, it's definitely a tool to lead you down the path of guitar discovery. I'm really glad I bought it.

Well, pretty bummed about this last update. It's turned into a pay to win game. Which really sucks. Now whoever grinds more for more "XP" (or pays for them) can get ridiculous boosts that upset the balance of the game. For instance, with one of the boosts, one can send the green blimps which are the most difficult blimps to destroy, super early in the game (level 12) giving the opponent no chance.
It sucks that this update ruined this game. Obviously I've played it a bit, but now it's getting uninstalled.

Oh where to start with this game.

The game looks great, and the animations, especially in the beginning are good.
The controls feel really clunky, slow, and unresponsive. The developers say that it has a "rewarding combat system". It's about as rewarding as having a dream that you're eating chocolate pudding and waking up with a spoon in your butt.

The rest of the game is about the same.

Don't waste your money on it.

Early Access Review
So far, this has been a really fun game. It's fast paced. It's like your favorite FPS but in ginormous robots. The robots aren't klunky to use. They "feel" fairly fluid.
You get lots of mechs that you can customize. Getting new mechs and upgrading is relatively quick early on. Lots of mechs that you can "buy" with Hawken bucks. Hawken bucks fairly easy to acquire (just play the game and you get em, the better you do, the more you get).
The graphics are good. Audio is good. controls are easy. Garage is neat.

Best of all this game is free.

If you're looking for a game where you can jump in quickly, get right to the action, and go a few rounds without spending all night at your computer, this is it. Fast paced, and fast action. Rounds are fairly short, but full of action.
