Came back after a very long hiatus to say this:
Not until the devs get a community manager. They really gutted the golden goose; slowly at first, then suddenly with airborne. It is an unplayable grinding slog, where it used to be a joyous and fun game.

These devs mock their community and listen to no feedback. Don't waste your money.

This program used to be a casino for children, then it was a video game, now it's a lot of bloatware with a video game included.

I've had this game for years and after a long hiatus, re-downloaded the 90+GB(!) files and updates only to have more EA launcher garbage that also has their "Background service" that runs anytime you open the game. Oh, it also *doesn't close* when you close the game. You have to manually end the task to close the EA "background service" which, frankly, is disgusting.

Not to mention, after buying this game, you then have to link your steam account to an EA account, then you have to verify your personal email with your EA account, then you get you agree to their 45 page user agreement, and THEN you can run a game that is often really buggy, no longer supports controllers, and the lobbies are full of bots; and most of the "Players" are bots as well. (And probably the same bots that write a lot of those fake-@$$ reviews.)

So yeah, spend your money on something like Hell Let Loose or Deep Rock Galactic. This game is dead.

This is the first and only game to scratch the KSP itch. Go figure, it’s from the same guys (not the buttholes responsible for KSP2.)

I’m telling you, there is no disappointment here. Play the game however you like and you’ll never run out of things to do and those dramatic moments that occur naturally instead of being spawn/scripted.

You won’t regret it.

Free to play games are never this good.

This is the only game I know that will release a +50GB major update and then remove the content two days later because "we beat the bad guys." This game is ridiculously overhyped and not worth even close to what they're charging you for it. If you have to play this game, get it on kinguin.

I have been playing Towerfall Ascension on various platforms for 5 years now and this is what I know:
There has never been a couch CO-OP nearly as successful as this one. The only game I can imagine coming anywhere close would be Killer Queen but again....it only comes close.

Towerfall Ascension has no online capabilities because, honestly, it's much too fast-paced for that. This game will have you and your friends fighting and dodging each other's various arrows with zero room for error! I never imagined that an 8-bit platform would have my heart slamming in my chest and explosive celebrations!
Just wait until you and your best bud are down to your last arrow, chasing each other around the screen or fighting off waves of enemies.

You have probably spent $40 a game that was pretty worth it. Why not spend $15 on a game you'll love and play for the rest of your life. And I promise, you will.

Played it a little. Here's what I learned.
-gravity is confusing
-fuel is heavy
-you can never have too many struts.

10/10 best game I've ever owned.

A shameless cash grab. Used to be awesome but now they've added loot boxes and made it so you have to pay if you want to have fun. If i wanted to sell my dignity I'd play the new battlefront.

10/10 would spend their summer as a lookout.

Almost got rid of it cause I don't like "scary games" but the story is very compelling and the gameplay is wicked fun!
