In terms of Auto-Battlers, I believe this is the best mix of strategy, randomness, build-discovery, and production-value on the market.

Is it the absolute deepest auto-battler there is? No, but it also is great at not being too overwhelming, like many ABs are. And the PvPvE aspect allows for a lot of fascinating PvE encounters, while still keeping the overall focus on the PvP battles.

I've put a couple hundred hours into this on the original Tempo Launcher. And I'm sure I"ll put many more now that it's on steam.

A well thought-out successor to Rouge Tower!
It is early, and lacks some of the depth of it's spiritual-predecessor. But there is clear signposting of where the dev intends to expand on the game. I'm hooked and hope there's a lot more to come in the future!

The only issue that you see people complaining about is difficulty. And yes, the game is difficult. But it's not THAT difficult.

Additionally, the devs have said they are focusing on balance and listening to feedback. So, the game will likely be easier soon.

This game get's system design down fantastically. And the mechanics (sans very few cards) are clear and easy to understand.

And the JUICE that comes with every Chucklefish game is second-to-none.
If you are BIG into deckbuilder rougelikes (someone who plays takes them to the highest difficulties), then check this game out asap. Otherwise, give it a month or so until they make it easier.
