Ever felt like throwing a Goblin off a building and murdering the little bastard? You can do that!
Ever felt like throwing multiple Goblins off a building and murdering the little bastards? You can do that!
Just don't do it as a Paladin!
Unless you want to be an oathbreaker!

Honestly, Larian makes the best RPG games ever, still suprised a gaming company from my country managed to create such a gem which isn't another generic and bland popular game being wheeled off the assembly line each year.

If you would tell me ten years ago that my country would have a gaming studio that'd make such a gem of a game I'd probably be in doubt. I'm proud of Larian Studio's for these great achievements and contributions they've made to my country's video game industry and I hope this'll serve as a beacon for more companies to create games!

Now to the game itself:
Divinity: Original Sin 2 is a unique experience in which you truly feel immersed. The story is amazing and the voice acting is superb. I already loved the first game, but this one is even way better. Usually I'd make my own character, but this is the first time I actually use a pre-made character just because the story is so intense!

If you are looking for an amazing turn-based RPG, Divinity: Original Sin 2 is your game!

Love the concept and it's a fun game but unless you manage to get 5 friends at the same time, it's almost impossible to play together as friends. I'm afraid I'm going to refund it simply due to this issue.

I'm still not sure what had happened to me. For years I had simply been SWAT unit, tackling down the most dangerous criminals and hostile organisations to keep my city safe. Now, I had suddenly woken up in the middle east, along with a lot of other SWAT men.

We found little comfort in the small stone shack in which we were locked up and I could swear that some of my comrades had already succumbed to the madness of the desert. They began to hit one another. I kept my distance from them. A few moments later one of my comrades came walking towards me, hopping around in a manner which did not seem all that hostile.

FInally, the barricades keeping us locked in the stone ruins fell down and we all ascended down into the desert. The other officer which did not seem hostile was keen on following me but kept silent.

We wandered the bare and empty desert and in the distance we saw one of our comrades get mauled down by a snake. This was truly a savage place. In the distance we noticed an abandoned village. We decided to scout it for food and water as we were growing thirsty and hungry.

The loud buzzing of a drone filled our surroundings and we noticed a small device with red lights fly past us. Could someone be filming this entire process? Were we merely here for someone's amusement? A few moments later I had discovered a knife. I turned around and beheld my comrade's spine break as his body twisted forwards to grab a vase. He came towards me in a threatening manner.

I had no choice but to cut him down. As his body fell down his neck extended and his limbs began to move in an inhuman manner. I fell down on my knees, madness had infested this place. I heard the footsteps of some of my other silent comrades behind me and I was punched down on the ground, the two silently beat me to death with their fists.

They were Down To One.

Whenever war is shown in a game, it's mostly about brave soldiers fighting for the preservation of their values and culture. Rarely does it show the suffering of the civil population and while there may have been some, they have never been as powerful or immersive as "This war of mine".

Survive in the ruins of the city of Pogoren as a group of civilians banded together. Each with their own skills, problems and addictions. Deal with supply shortage in a city which is being looted from every corner, because everyone wants to cling to life. Will you allow the war to change you and turn you to do monsterous things for your own survival or will you try and survive without stealing or killing?

The choice is yours to make, either way it'll be hard and the game isn't holding your hand. During my first playthrough everything went fine until winter came and one of my survivors died in a fight with a bunch of bandits. Disease spread and before I knew it my people were unable to do much productive work due to their ilnesses.

It's only 18.99 euro's on Steam but I seriously recommend buying this since it's by far one of the most immersive and emotional games of 2014.

Brings back great childhood memories, advisable to play with two people. Could use more levels to play, though.
