If you have a friend or two to play this with, this is one of the best and fun pvp games I've played. The movement and combat is extremely satisfying to pull off and will provide you with hours and hours of fun. This game made me and my friend laugh so much while fighting each other and I can't recommend it enough. There's also parkour and pve modes which are just alright, but the main attraction is the pvp.

I love the base game of Astroneer to death, but this dlc honestly just isn't great. You repeat the same gameplay loop THREE times, and nothing changes between them except the biomes you're traversing. And let me tell you, the two last biomes you have to traverse are HELL with vehicles you're given. Most of the time in the dlc is spent just traversing extremely annoying terrain. Then if you die in the middle of the biome, you might have to go all the way back to your spawn point (shelter or field shelter you placed) and go on a rescue mission to get your stuff back, which could takes hours. Me and my friend had to do this multiple times because of a plant we didn't see that shot nukes at us. There's also a chance your seed will be bugged and a crucial part of progression literally won't spawn (Delta hotspots) and the only thing you can do is remake the world and go through the dlc AGAIN (copying the world and making it creative and checking it before you actually play helps though). Once you reach the end of the dlc, it doesn't feel like you really did anything to actually end the story, it just..ends... The only positive thing I can say about the dlc is the biome visuals look good, other than that I sadly can't recommend this dlc. Even if it was free idk if it would still be worth playing.

Overall just worse in every aspect from the first game. Worse bosses, more unfun areas, bad balancing (game was piss easy on veteran difficulty until the last few bosses), unfun bosses (they didn't learn that enemy hoard bosses are the most lazy thing to add and the most boring thing possible), terrible performance issues because they're too lazy to optimize their game, and many more issues that made this game not an enjoyable experience.
