You kind of are with that attitude, but I'm tired and this discussion is going nowhere so we'll have to agree to disagree there. Hell if Rockstar can fix performance on a game they abandoned, I have no doubt we'll be seeing lots of patches for this game for months to come to smooth things out. I just don't think it's gonna be as quick as people thought when they saw the initial benchmarks and blamed everything from Denuvo to the lack of drivers.

1 generation back is a understatement there is at minimum 3 gens between 10 and 30

Can everyone afford it? No but we're getting to a point the 10 series its coming to its end

I wrote a long comment just in case someone else saw what I wrote and wanted to know what performance I was getting/setup I was using, nothing more. I do appreciate that someone even tho it's not an issue on my end, at least wanted to be helpful. There are a handful of very useless comments out there just saying "runs fine for me lul" without listing any specs or what settings they use. Lastly I want to point out that this game was actually designed for last gen. I don't think it's fair to dismiss 99% of the Steam userbase because they don't have the 30 series, for the same reason I don't crap on people for not playing Half Life Alyx.

You're entire issues is you're still running a 10 series card on a game not designed around that

Steam recommending a 1060 6gb or even a 1660 super is a fool's run

Fact of the matter is honestly its not the game it's people getting lulled into thinking a 10 series card cuts it for this


Fyi it's open world... open world has always been buggy no open world game ever comes out with little bugs

Problem is now if the game is not perfect people will find anything and everything to talk bad about it

2. I appreciate your advice but I'm hardly in the minority on this one, as even reviews (feel free to check PCgamer, Eurogamer or Skillup on YT) mention these issues with bugs and performance. Don't get me wrong, when I don't have to reload due to a bug I'm still enjoying this game a lot but it is clear it needed more time in the oven.

1. I mean then you must have gotten the magical day 1 patch that fixes every bug and cures depression. Even if performance is not an issue (which I find odd since even a 3080 crawls with RT on), you must have at least experienced a few bugs here and there, I just had a minor game-breaking one after the first BD mission for example. And yes I have the latest drivers with a clean install. Running on a gtx 1080 and ryzen 3700x, I manage to get around 60 fps with medium settings but only with the dynamic resolution scaling option which effectively blurs out the game when it struggles to run on my 2k monitor, most of the time in the city. It's basically the the inferior version of DLSS 2.0 which is what I'm guessing your running on with your 2070.

Hey, I just saw your review on Cyberpunk and I was wondering if you have updated your drivers? I have not noticed anything you said in the review. I am playing on a 2070super paired with a Ryzen 3800x, I do not know what specs your computer has. I have been able to run Ultra ray tracing with high settings at around 45-60 stable fps.
