-Spoilers, Duh-

Let me start by saying that i absolutely adore this game.
The visuals are stunning, The locations are beautiful and the gameplay itself has been significantly upgraded from previous souls games.
I would 100% recommend playing it to everyone, it's an amazing game and i can't wait for more.
That being said, it's not at all a perfect game.
Here are some issues i had with it:

This game seems to think allowing bosses to 2 shot you with every move makes the game more difficult, which surprise surprise, it doesn't.
I’ve played every dark souls game and they lost their way on these bosses. No longer skillful and intelligent mechanics. Just power house bosses who can 1 shot you.
(Though not every boss is like that, there are a lot of those)
It really does get annoying after a few deaths, I never went above 27-30 vitality in any soulsborne game, yet here I am at 40 Vitality and getting 2 shot.
I really wish they'd just balance it.

"Oh just get better armor"

"Better armor" lmao I wish armor did something, From my expierience it feels like armor doesn't even do anything with heavy armor feeling like it's just straight up ignored,
(Though i haven't used heavy armor that much, spend the entire game on mid rolls)
My point being that it didnt matter if i wore armor or not, i'd still get 2/3 shot.
Poise also feels nonexistant, with an enemy with a dagger being able to absolutely decimate a colossal weapon user

My problem with damage in Elden Ring is that it's cheap, unsatisfying and has an aftertaste of frustration.
I think the movesets of the bosses and placement of enemies in the world is more than enough to get you killed if you're careless and that's great!
However, the idea of having to redo an entire boss fight just because the boss pulled something previously unseen out his ass or because you missed a single dodge at max health is just not good design.


It's get 60 Vigor or eat sh*t. Hope you don't have a cool build in mind because f*ck you.
A basic enemy that come in groups and have like 1000 hp will grab you and do 900 dmg.
It's frankly f*cking ass.

I hate that pretty much every boss has the same foundation and then it's built upon to make it "unique" for example EVERY SINGLE BOSS having a stomp attack,
feels like I'm just fighting the same guy with different resistances and healthbars.






And now my favorite segment.
Bosses:

Malenia's "waterflow dance":
This attack might be, quite literally, the worst thing that has ever been in one of these games.
No attack should be so unintuitive that there has to be ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ guides.
The fight with Malenia itselft is really good i think but it's just that one attack that's asscheeks honestly.

The Godskin Duo:
We got Fanboy and ChumChum over here, ChumChum 'bout to roll at you with his stupid ass donut move,
and Fanboy is about to sit here throwin' f*ckin' fire balls at you the whole f*cking time.
The entire boss fight is just two previously seen bosses put together.
And it's not enough that there's two of these f*ckers, they also respawn... for some reason?
Somebody please let them know that they're not four kings.

Gargoyle Duo:
Speaking of sh*t bossfights, we have literally the worst boss fight made by FromSoftware.
One of these dumbass gargoyles would be enough, And don't get me started with their dumbass poison mist.
It's insane how fast that sh*t melts hp bars.

Tree Sentinel
I mean cmon man, the dude that just sits camping freshies at spawn.
How down bad do you have to be for a kill? Picking off level 1's right away, like cmon man,
Tree Sentinel get yo ass outta here.
(Personally didn't have issues fighting him, but i've seen people b*tching about him so i wanted to include him)

Elden Beast:
Tell me how this motherf*cker is swimming under shallow water?
Or am i jesus? how am i walking on this ♥♥♥♥?
And then you hit him and the dude flies across the map, it's annoying as f*ck
Also i think the game should've ended at Radagon - Elden Beast just feels kinda forced.
+ gigant boss syndrome hurts the fight

Placidusax and Bayle:
Finnaly a good dragon fight - Every single dragon fight made by FromSoftware before those was just horrible.
But this time they finnaly made good ones, though Bayle (and Fortissax) crashed my game a couple times, kinda annoying.

Messmer:
Good fight overall i just didnt like getting my screen blocked by all the fire and getting stunlocked by him.

Scadutree Avatar:
Someone explain to me why this b*tch ass boss has 3 health bars?
Didn't like the boss, probably the worst one in the DLC.

Promised Consort Radahn:
Hands down the best bossfight in the game.
It's challenging but i really liked it, when you get to know his attacks the fight feels like a fluid dance which is exaclty what i like in bossfights.
