They literally just remade Slay the Spire and made it better. The multiplayer is such a nice addition and works flawlessly

It's good...but it needs more time in the oven.

The base of the game is great, a solid entry into the zombie survival genre. Visually there's nothing to complain about, lighting and graphics all look good with no performance issues on my end. As many others are mentioning, the camera controls get pretty wonky, most notably indoors. Don't even try to fight the bandits with guns indoors. The camera is so far zoomed in you get shot from bandits you can't even see.

Base building has been pretty hit or miss, there's a lot of issues with objects not snapping correctly or being unable to highlight stuff to dismantle. Sometimes the button to access storage or open doors is not near where the object actually is, so you gonna do a little circle dance by them to find the interact button. A big offender is stairs not snapping to literally anything, and since you character can't walk over a 0.2FT object without mantling, making a base means you'll be jumping up to wherever your floor is.

There's also issues with some POIs being pretty bare bones, or issues with item/enemy spawning. I found a High School POI that was just...unfinished. It had several rooms that had literally nothing in it, many other rooms had 0 loot. There were several computer rooms with 7-8 lootable computers, but they were all empty with nothing spawned for loot. This happened in every computer room in this POI.

As is, once the tech issues and some more QoL gets added, this will be a fantastic game. Give it another 3-6 months and check back in, this was not ready for 1.0.

Really tragic that Sony is trying to enforce their account creation for their platform for PC users that don't need it. Solidarity to the countries unable to make PSNs that have been able to purchase and play the game for months now.

Kudos to the devs for sticking up for the players

Came back to try the new expansion, and was summarily met with a game breaking bug that prevents advancement of the MSQ past a certain point, and locks out parts of the end game grind. I have no clue how this was allowed to release like this, but the bug affects many returning players and WILL lock you out of MSQ if you are returning after getting past a certain point of the old MSQ. AGS said they were working on a fix for this, but after 2 weeks the bug is still not fixed. They have proven they are incapable of supporting this game, DO NOT support AGS until they can prove they can be trusted to manage a live service MMO.

For everything good that this game does, it does 2 things bad. Rampant game exploits, gold dupes, item dupes, xp abusing, unbalanced weapons, incredible amounts of lag in pvp. AGS comes out one day and professes that they will be more transparent with updates and communicate better, and the next they release a patch shadow nerfing a bunch of game functions.

To sum up AGS' involvement with the community: I've had a bug report that I made on their official forums on day 3 of launch.... 60 days later with no response.
