A very nice and chill not-a-clicker.

The progression is is satisfying, the curve is good, there is even a few variations of the game mode which changes the progression path in a very interesting ways.

Completionist time: ~4.5 hours

Really nice production chain optimisation idler. The graphics are super-clean, easy to understand.

I appreciate there being a few systems that obviously do interact with each other, but each one of them is a world of its own and each one of them works completely differently, that brings enjoyable variety to the game.

It is free to play, completely fine to play with option to support the dev that speeds your journey up a bit, definitely not required, very sensible, kudos

Awesome one-day banger. Worth every penny

The gameplay is easy to pick-up, the progression is satisfying and easy to follow, you always have the sense of advancing and getting better.
The best surprise was that this 'clicker' actually contains a very little literal clicking, it keeps the tropes of the genre without triggering acute carpal tunnel syndrome.

Some negatives:
It gets a teeeny tiny bit grindy at the VERY end, but that's fine.
The pickaxe progression is very straightforward, the next is simply better than the previous in everything.

I would definitely play a successor to this game, can imagine new mechanics like different hitpoint values for different ores, more nuanced selection of pickaxes, like having a huge AOE one thats slower or having stronger and faster focused one with smaller area..... Maybe different map biomes, each with it's unique challenges. Also possibly the map being larger with some form of movement to get around the map.... I feel like the possibilities are pretty much limitless here and it would be another banger!

Early Access Review
It is an iteration of the Airborne Kingdom and offers the same experience but better in every way.

Still in early access and yet even in this state it is a very good game. I have not encountered any bugs nor any crashes.

Fun and engaging little game.
The premise is quite simple, yet playing it is very satisfying, the progression is interesting and well constructed.

Full playthrough: 7 hours, but would be a bit less if I wasn't afk farming for some time

Early Access Review
The first shapez game was pretty much perfect - easy to understand concept, well made, smooth gameplay, almost endless number of shapes combinations to make and endless sandbox to play in.

And yet, Shapez 2 are better in pretty much every aspect.

First of all, the game visuals are simply astounding. The setting of the game works perfectly with the idea and the futuristic high-tech feel... just works. And even while looking so good, the game runs smoothly.

The other part is the fact, that the gameplay is still the same awesome 'let me optimize this' as it ever was. There is a twist now though. Now it is possible to literally 'take a step back' and use the whole blocks of machines and belts as the actual building blocks of the great factory. So now you are building the building that you then build as blocks to create what you need on a HUGE scale.

Amazing, simply amazing.

Also, the game is very polished even in the beginning of the Early Access phase.
The Devs are listening to the community, they are communicating well and they are working hard on making the game better.

An amazing example how games can be done right, even in today. We need more teams and more studios like these guys
