AlienOnMars, really appreciate you reaching out man! I did end up figuring out what the issue was, it had something to do with the update not mixing well with my X3D processor, I had to disable the game bar and set my power plan to "high performance" - can't remember all the details on why that fixed it, but i remember specifically figuring out that my processor mixed with the new March update was the culprit. Control was not communicating properly with the 3D V-cache and disabling gamebar and changing the power plan finally fixed that for some crazy reason, no more stuttering. And if I re-enable gamebar and change the power plan back to "balanced", stutters come right on back to drive me crazy again lol... sounds ridiculous, I know, but that's what finally worked for me, took days to figure that out though. Anyway, I beat the game yesterday (stutter free) and I really liked it a lot! Thanks again for reaching out btw, truly appreciate it.

Hi - saw your Control review, comments disabled there so posting here: 1st there's a new nvidia driver that dropped a few days after your review that specifically mentions working with the updated Control patch so you might want to check you have that driver installed, 572.83, open the nvidia app in the taskbar to find it. Second thing that helped me in the past for issues with this game is going to the nvidia app, going to graphics, selecting the game under the program settings tab and toggling low latency mode on (scroll down once the game is selected to find it under 'driver settings'). There's also a mod here that I used that helped but I'd try the other steps first: https://community.pcgamingwiki.com/files/file/2035-control-blurry-textures-fix/ . Really hope this helps you as it's a crazy good game!
