Underrated fun game with a good storyline. Play it.

Quick and easy game.

Good ♥♥♥♥!

+ decent graphics
+ real time gameplay with slow/pause
+ kinda challenging even in medium difficulty
+ lots of alien types
+ stealthy approach or run n' gun, can't be always the latter

- no manual saves & limited autosaves
- only 12 missions, some maps reused
- some bugged Steam achievements, i.e., the datapads
- not as terrifying as Alien Isolation
- no DLC yet as of this time

Good game with amazing visuals worth the 20+ hrs if you buy it at a discount. Press "O" to show the quest path as it helps a lot, and bind it on one of your mouse buttons for quick access.

Pros: Kingslayer movies, eye candy graphics at ultra, helicopters, every buchon has a story to tell, 2 endings,
tons of weapons and skin customization
Cons: Sometimes long loading times, repetitive missions

It's better than Diablo 4 for casual play. If you also want overhead map, working chat, auto sort items in inventory, almost unlimited stash space with search function, able to trade with other players (MG), or just want to buy it listed in a marketplace (Bazaar) then this game is for you.

Combat is way better than the first Surge, and no proficiency on the weapons means more freedom to use any weapon you want. The ability to change implants anywhere. More NPCs, so more quests and can still kill them if you wish. Convenient revert save option (load previous manual save point) for getting a hardcore boss for their v2 weapon. Starting an NG+ game with alternate intro perspective is refreshing is to see =)

+ decent graphics, but with jaggies even with SMAA, increase render resolution instead
-accidentally hitting or killing NPCS will break their quests/reward, so be careful what you hit
-not optimized and getting average fps mostly ~69 even with good hardware, GPU usage is low 20%+ @ 1440p max graphics settings
