This is a really cool horror experience that has a ton of nostalgic feel to it. It has a very Blair Witch and Backrooms feel to it, but also feels Lovecraftian at the same time. The main suggestions I would make to the developer is to add footstep sounds! The breathing is great, but not being able to hear myself walk yet being able to hear myself breathe is weird.

You absolutely cannot match the nostalgia to money ratio that this package offers for a mere $40 USD. This is simply amazing.

As far as fishing games go, this one is pretty dang good. The mid 2000's seemed to be the sweet spot for fishing games and there's a ton of nostalgia to be had with the old titles for the Playstation. CotW: The Angler comes close to scratching the itch though, with it's diverse array of gear and wide variety of fish to catch. My only real complaint would be the paywall content, but I understand the studio needs to make money off

Probably the worst $50 I ever spent. I would recommend buying Arma 3 over this garbage. Now that Arma Reforger exists, there is absolutely zero justifiable reason to purchase this slop. The infantry mechanics are utter garbage and the game optimization is atrocious. The fact that the game devs have the audacity to add paywall items to such a mess of a platform SCREAMS desperation to bleed a dying cow for the rest of what its worth before butchering it and putting it out of its misery.

Amazing game. 100% worth getting on sale, as to not support CA's disgusting money grabbing tactics and lack of passion for a beloved IP. The contents of many of their DLCs should not be paywall content for starters, but the nail in the coffin is the complete and total incompetence on the part of the development team. Being unable to fix THEIR OWN CONTENT and then denying assistance from the dedicated and passionate community? Seriously F*** CA, and SEGA. F*** GW too, for allowing a monopoly on their IP by greedy sycophants.

Wow. What to say honestly? It claims to be a simulator but does an abysmal job of being realistic. Even if you ignore the outlandish progression system, everything is clunky and out of place. Casting is janky. There is no underwater structure or vegetation. Fish AI seems to be on a random swim loop and is affected by bait choice only. Driving the boat is nauseating. All of these issues combined have me very grateful I picked this up on sale for only $3. It's just not that fun. You fight the game more than the fish, and when you do finally manage to hook/catch one? It does not offer a great feeling of accomplishment, because the fight is bland and uninteresting.

It truly blows that with all of today's technology game designers have made basically ZERO progress in making a realistic fishing game.

I have been waiting for this game for a long, long time. I spent hours of my childhood customizing my AC in Armored Core 3. Fromsoft and Bandi Namco delivered on my Nostalgia. I haven't pre-ordered a game since Battlefield 4, and that bit me. Not this. Regardless what anybody says, this game is pure perfection.

Update: Wow... what can I say? I just beat all 3 endings. I got more than my money's worth and will eventually go back and S rank every mission. I dropped Baldur's Gate 3 to get through the whole story to this FromSoftware gem. Story you say? It's definitely there, and while in my opinion not as good as the story in Sekiro, it's still another Home Run for Fromsoft. Multiple playthroughs are required to achieve not only all the endings but all of the AC parts.

Out of all the MilSim games out there. Arma is the best—hands down, without question. No one part about it stands out as being excellent, but all of what the game combines together makes it something incredibly unique. The singleplayer experience is decent, but multiplayer is the bread and butter.

Sadly, only KoTH is really popular anymore. But if you can fall in with some of the dedicated MilSim groups things can get very wild. Cannot wait for Arma 4.

It was fun when it was peak. Dare say it was unmatched. Sadly it hasn't aged well and development has basically stagnated. All my personal hopes for a Planetside 3 died a few years ago. Unless the IP gets picked up by a dedicated and loyal production team with a solid budget, I'm afraid Planetside is dead. I would rather it die than have it malformed and twisted by a big company like EA though.
