The graphics are honestly stunning and I don't mean that in an exaggerated way, I was literally shocked when I first started playing and it took me a few minutes just to take in how good this game looks. It seems to have fixed the bugginess of the old game and added tons of nice QOL features and just makes a great game so much better.

However, the lower performance is noticeable and I know many people struggle to run this game at enjoyable settings. It is surprisingly well optimized for what it is but it is still far from widely accessible. If you struggle to run other games then you will likely have performance issues with this one.

I am feeling optimistic so far based on what I have seen. Even as it is now there is still a good amount of stuff to do.

Edit: I am so disappointed. I was incredibly excited to experience all of the stuff on the roadmap but it appears that I will never get to experience any of it. What a shame.

After having played for only three hours I thought I'd leave some feedback. Currently this game is unpolished and rough around the edges but it shows great potential. The casting system is decent and the reeling system is pretty good. The water looks pretty decent on higher graphics settings but even with a great pc I'm getting a bunch of freezes and lag. This game needs a lot of work but I see it becoming a great fishing game if the devs work hard on it.
