Disclaimer, only played the game for the Discord quest. Thankfully a free game.

TLDR: This game has no soul, no identity, and was not fun compared to games of similar genre.

I want you to imagine the core gameplay loop of Gunfire Reborn, literally that, but with the art style of Valorant, camera angles of Marvel Rivals, and the in game stores of all 3 at once. There was zero originality with this game.

I can say without the Discord quest, I would not have even tried the game. I have not enjoyed looter-shooters like these much and have played a few.
The into cutscene does not offer anything, it even reuses the same clip twice.
The game is not optimised, 120 frames was good by default but any new areas caused stuttering and lagging in my sessions, which were solo.
The main menu is an absolute mess, everything is everywhere, there is little explanation to things, no direction for the player, and it is full of useless, soulless, and ugly cosmetics, though it is a free game so money needs to be made somewhere.
Gameplay is very stale, there is so much going on that everything that has detail to it is not on the screen long enough to be admired, enemies are not difficult at all and literally look like training dummies.
There is nothing offered to the first time player in regards to storyline, reason to be fighting, any insight to the characters, just "Hey, go kill".

I appreciate the developer's hard work to the game, but it is absolutely not what I expected, wanted, nor deserved. I could not play a fourth level, there was just no point to it. I had no connection to the game, did not find it enjoyable, and felt a relief to alt-f4 the game.

A good game that Nintendo is trying to kill because they lack innovation in one of the most innovative countries in the world.

Seriously f*** Nintendo and their licenses for s***, make better games, stop tearing down your consumer base. At least you know your audience, acting like feral f***ing children throwing tantrums because someone is getting more attention than you. Go back to making card games you prepubescent, unoriginal, thieving, conniving, anticonsumer, rinse and repeat release the same s*** again, cuck wuffles. Nintendo making me like Ubisoft, EA, and myself more than them, and I hate all 3.

But seriously though, good a** game for both replayability and price. Worth buying even when not on sale.

Before I start, I will warn any new player that the grind in this game is atrociously long and will seem daunting at first, but the longer you play, the more it feels rewarding to progress and grow in strength.

I have played this game on Xbox and Steam and have adored the game's story throughout and still do. Since the maiden of glass, Gara, was released, Warframe has been a staple of my casual gaming career. Throughout the nearly seven years since my first Awakening, Warframe has never ceased to amaze me in story and replayibility. Warframe is a mystery when one first starts out, not knowing the true power you would unlock in time, yet in early game, there is no necessity nor need to progress too quickly. Missions of many types and open areas to discover and explore leave new players with plenty to do, if not overwhelmed by the introduction of so many mechanics.

Warframe struggles a little with introducing new players to the story and world it creates, seeing as the introduction missions have remained the same since I began. However, the game makes up for this in allowing the player near full reign to make their journey at any pace they wish, and the starchart specifically tuned to guide those unfamiliar through its many missions. Not only this, but the first warframe besides the one gifted to you in the beginning is undeniably rewarding to attain. Despite the 72 hour wait time to assemble, the anticipation kept me engrossed for days as I blazed my way through the game. This is how i remember my introduction.

Nowadays, I still find myself awaiting the next huge update, amazed and awed by the creations, or in story terms, "developments" and "discoveries" for my Tenno to investigate. Having finally attained the Mastery Rank of Legendary 4 (MR34) this past March, and only recently attaining every Steam Advancement, I still find myself feeling as if I have not completed the game, always feeling there is more to do.

For a Free-To-Play game, this ticks all the boxes of a Triple A game for me: Resiliency, Wonder, and Anticipation. Warframe allows players the option to spend money as they please, or simply grind to enjoy the spoils of their toils. There is no reason to ever hate this game, seeing as no one will force you to play it, merely I feel as if it is a friend beckoning me to return.

Anyone can play the game, seeing as you don't require any mechanics to finish the story, yet learning them will not make the game feel too quick or easy as there is always a challenge to be had. If you're tentative, give it a shot, you'll either love it or list it, and there is zero risk to see if being a space ninja is fun in your eyes.

Tenno, Awaken, it is time to begin your first dream.

I started playing this game way after the release flop and have enjoyed it throughout every hour of my playthrough. No Man's Sky is something which i would describe as a working work in progress, this game will likely never have a sequel and will have updates until its playerbase has long since forgotten it.

Some of the biggest features that have been added since i have joined is the pets, though they need some tweaking, it is SUPER fun to hunt the cutest little animals of the cosmos. The newer settlements are a very nice idea, however i find them a little buggy and could use some work still, and freighters are an amazing addition, along with exocraft.

However, some features are in dire need of a retweak or implementation such as fully customizable starships, at least colours since its possible for exocraft AND freighters, so no excuse we couldn't chose our own colours. Likewise, no colour customization for base pieces or the interior of the freighters. Lastly, SPOILER WARNING: Living ship customization, you get the ship, learn where to get upgrade modules, but cannot upgrade the inventory without certain glitches, this is an issue. (Also no way to upgrade freighter class, id pay 150,000 nanites to make that S Class).

By no means is this a bad game, its kept me entertained for hours upon hours and i still enjoy it to this day, but i don't personally see it as worth the $60 price tag, get it while its on sale instead!!

Having put a considerable amount of my time into this game, I can say it has a strong replay value. You learn a lot of the tips and tricks and eventually everything starts to mainstream a bit in a lot of games. I can't say it doesn't happen here, but I can assure that even a level 475 still gets scared every now and again. It wasn't until a week ago that I discovered a ghost event where every single door and closet locks in its current position and the ghost initiates a hunt, though only a short time it lasts, scary on a small map like Ridgeview. This game is rather fun for just about anyone, though younger people should be advised against it... especially in VR.

The maps are very complex and well made with a variety of complex designing and thought out planning. The game also carries some extra value in not just hunting ghosts and horror. It also encompasses a scavenger hunt for the bone or Ouija Board, a survival game, a strategy game, and a detective game. This is what makes it endlessly replayable for me.

However, the game does have a few downsides. Occasionally there are bugs that ruin the fun, such as the cameras breaking, spirit boxes not hearing when given a command, or equipment not spawning in. Though, these are rare.

A major downside of the game is the lack of power the group has against trollers and exploiters. As of now, there are many clipping, speed, and fly hacks within the game as well as exploits for unlimited money and levels. As for trollers, someone can join in and expend all of the team's resources and leave, making it nigh impossible for the team to properly play the game. There is also the fact that, in order to leave a map, the entire living team must be in the van to initiate the animation. Players can sit AFK in the building for as long as they want to delay the team. Furthermore, players can cancel the animation by pressing the same button, keeping everyone in the game. There is no kick/votekick feature while playing in a map and actively ghost hunting, but for some reason only at the title screen. Though, just as the glitches are, this is rare.

I love this game, played for two years on Xbox then swapped to PC. People seem to dislike the new blueprint system replacing the fan-adored crate system since Epic Games bought Psyonix, however, it is a step forward, even if not in the direction the community would have hoped.
Now onto the game, game-play is near flawless with some occasional glitches, most are minor. The game does have a harsh learning curve, but that makes it rewarding. The game has an endless replay value, kind of like the repetitiveness of a Call of Duty game where every match is different.
I recommend this game to anyone who wants to play something dynamic and challenging to grasp. It has a way about it that forces you to play over and over, and the community (apart from in-game contextually...) is wonderful with generally kind and helpful people. Definitely worth the price for what was once just a random indie game.
