It is essentially a glorified screensaver for people like me who love the old-school first person dungeon crawler aesthetic 10/10

Excited to see what updates to the game the developer continues to come up with, would love to see more classes and customization for sure as well as races. Weird ask but would also love to see a toggle option more classic dungeon crawler "stuttered" step forward movement, for me the current movement is too smooth so its jarring since I play a lot of dungeon crawlers on a regular basis (right now, wizardry variants daphne).

Maybe the addition of a front row and backrow system to prioritize targets and a 6 party member system mode?

It's finally hit what I'd call 1.0 with the most recent update, can actually recommend getting it.

Great remaster of the PSVITA game, highly recommend playing with a controller (steam even warns you when you launch the game for the first time). While it does show it's age and era, there have been some improvements and additions to the remaster that are welcome such as better thorn/sling controls and remappable key config. The english dub is passable but the japanese dub definitely wins out here, the english version of the text-to-speech on your robot partner as well as the npc's is jarring and takes getting used to but it's definitely not AI, far too many mispronounced words like listening to google assistant/Siri trying to pronounce street names in Hawai'i.

Just as much dumb fun as I remember it when I bought it as a teenager 2003, make some messed up creatures and hope they work!

Love it, been waiting for a sequel for around 12 years. Currently there's a lot of performance issues for a lot of people but runs fine on low settings on my Asus TUF Dash F15 laptop while I'm out of state away from my desktop, still looks great too.

Micro-transactions are negligible/non-existant in terms of affecting the game, everything in the "microtranactions" steam store can be easily obtained in-game in about 1-2 hours of starting the game. Stupid that they're buyable yes but unfortunately it was probably the lesser of evils options that Director Itsuno probably was obligated to include by his higher ups, better something superfluous than game breaking. All of those come with the deluxe bundle anyways but are sold individually which does make it look worse than it is, normally would be bundled as "deluxe edition upgrade" that so many other games do now days, even non capcom ones.

Been playing since before NA launch with the friends at Kuroshin Mabinogi, can't wait for the Unreal engine 5 update!

Great game, been playing it for years with at least 400hrs on my main character. Do not start on steam if you want to get some small carry-over things (not game-changing, just loyalty aesthetics) from Guild Wars 1, start your account creation from the guild wars 2 website with the stand-alone game client, technically you can't use your stand-alone client account on steam unless you change a few launcher things as the log ins are different natively, just do a quick google and you'll figure it out pretty easily.

Love the class system with advanced classes/elite specializations when you reach cap, makes the game feel fresh when you can freely change between 3 specializations of your base class. New players beware, do not get cocky because the core game/core tyria campaign felt easy, Heart of Thorns general mobs will humble you really quickly lmao.

Biased opinion but I feel that Sylvari are the best first race to pick as you see a lot more of the base game story, for example being steadily introduced to one of the main supporting cast story NPCs as part of your characters story vs. him ([Trehearne], love you bro!) just suddenly showing up in your story much later as someone important with no clue.

A definite must have if you want a co-op game to play with friends, community is pretty great. ROCK AND STONE!
