Good job. Glad I could help.

Hey, just got the achievement. Thanks for the help, I appreciate it.
Azure Fang 15 Nov, 2025 @ 10:24am
I can't be 100% sure as it's been years since I earned it. But I'm very confident it's true.
OniiSenpaiChan 15 Nov, 2025 @ 10:01am
Okay, thanks. You're sure I'm fine picking up health? I'd hate to have to another playthrough on top of the ones I'll already have to do.
Azure Fang 14 Nov, 2025 @ 10:45pm
They are indeed both for Tower. For Masochist, I'm relatively certain it only applies to permanent upgrades, so healing should be fine.
OniiSenpaiChan 14 Nov, 2025 @ 5:01pm
Hello, sorry to bother you. I was wondering if you can help me with something. I'm trying to 100% the game "Tower and Sword of Succubus", and there's 2 achievements I'm a little confused on. Are "Believe In Yourself" and "Masochist" for the tower game or the sword game, and for "Masochist" does it only mean upgrade items or can I also not pick up health to heal?

I understand. Thank you for your time in explaining what the game is like. Take care bro :retro_beer:

@Darth Vader
Recommending NMS is a really difficult call.

If compared to Starfield: No
NMS and Starfield are completely different games. People tend to come in thinking NMS is like Elite: Dangerous or Starfield, but it's not. If you're looking for an Action game or Open World RPG, you will be extremely disappointed.

If you like aimless sandbox games: Yes
NMS is, at its heart, a walking simulator. It's closer to Minecraft than anything else. There is no real end goal to NMS aside from the short, open progression main quests. You make your own enjoyment in NMS.

Hello there Azure. I saw you have over a thousand hours in No Man's Sky. I would like to know if you recommend it to those who have never played it. I'm currently playing and enjoying Starfield (I'm almost a thousand hours in), and it's one of my favorite games right now. Is it possible to compare it with NMS? I've always wanted to play NMS and after this update, I wanted to try. Thank you :SmileCube:

Glad it's still helping.

Ahhhh okay
Azure Fang 18 Aug, 2022 @ 12:44pm
I might some day, but I'm so burned out on Starbound I'm not sure I'll ever get back into modding for it.
Mark the Chinese Lawyer 18 Aug, 2022 @ 11:20am
Hello!

I was wondering if you're still interested in patching Supper's CO? More specifically the treasure pools, I was wondering if there was a way you could still get his permission and release a patch?
Chet Walters 12 Dec, 2021 @ 12:41pm
@Azure Fang - that's odd. Too bad about such good ideas being treated that way. But oh well. In any case, I think it works now tho. He fixed some issues that you mentioned to him - several times. Thank you for your response. Have a good one, buddy, and stay well!
Azure Fang 11 Dec, 2021 @ 3:58pm
Unfortunately, the developer of most of the standalone alternate fluffalo decided to work with a different modder and make a bloated combination mod rather than fixing the original and never gave permission to fix the original. Sorry.
Chet Walters 11 Dec, 2021 @ 1:45pm
Hey there! I have some questions for you? I am playing Starbound, and I need leather Fluffalo and other kinds of Fluffalo. There was a guy who made them. You mentioned they needed to fix their code because it's not supportive to other mods? Do you maybe have fixed version of these mods? Thanks in advance!

Works fine, and exactly as I expected.

The easiest way to work with it is to resize the glyphs to the same sizes as the existing ones - 54x51 for regular, 54x52 for ol_b, and 42x38 for ol_s - then align them to the same image position to preserve whitespace and then overwrite.

The hard way would be to save them as the above resolutions, overwrite, then rewrite the image coordinates in the individual JSONs for each file to compensate for the differing asset sizes.

Also, a note: Even with -no-rename, is still saves them as .psb.m.psb. You still need to trim off the superfluous .psb to make sure they end as .psb.m.
Thorkell The Tall 27 Jun, 2021 @ 10:25pm
That's probably why. I'll have to give it a shot tomorrow evening. Let me know how it goes. I did notice that the button image files have white space at the bottom and right of the button images themself, so I'm not sure how exact replacements need to be.
Azure Fang 27 Jun, 2021 @ 7:51pm
Done and done. Will be posting the preliminary work soon.
Azure Fang 27 Jun, 2021 @ 7:35pm
While I haven't run a full test, I had preliminary load with a partially modified font_us.psb.m by compiling it with "-p win -no-rename". I'm building all of the font files now for a full test.
Azure Fang 27 Jun, 2021 @ 7:33pm
Did you set the "-p win" option?
Thorkell The Tall 27 Jun, 2021 @ 6:55pm
The issue that I found was that I can recreate using PsBuild, and it outputs a pure.psb, but its usually 10 times the size of the original file because it's not in the psb-ish format m2 uses. Attempting to rename and replace causes legend of mana to fail to launch, which is what I expected. I don't know what I need to do after this step.
Azure Fang 27 Jun, 2021 @ 6:26pm
Oh, that's perfect. It should be as simple as creating a like-sized image of the buttons - say, if it's 50x50 make the new one 50x50 - then using PsBuild (included with FreeMote) to recreate the psb.m. Optionally, one can use whatever similar sized image and then rewrite the JSON that's included as part of the psb.m. I've got some free time, so now that you've pointed me in the right direction I'll take a crack at in. I kept thinking that it might be in the font files, and I should have gone with that hunch :squirtooh:
Thorkell The Tall 27 Jun, 2021 @ 3:33pm
I don't know how to use the viewer to compile an edited pure psb. It's apparently a .net wrapper, but my knowledge of this subject is cursory, and the viewer opens and closes immediately. I get by with following instructions, and either its my clear lack of knowledge or git wikis and readmes just manage to never have information I need, so if you have any advice I'd appreciate it.
Thorkell The Tall 27 Jun, 2021 @ 3:10pm
https://i.imgur.com/SzWAkgk.png I actually have literally 0 experience replacing something like this, so I don't know how it works. But this is the first instance ive spotted them in.
Thorkell The Tall 27 Jun, 2021 @ 3:09pm
Legend of Mana\windata\system\font
they are literally in i think almost every language tagged psb in this folder, identical copies for some reason.
