Pros:
+ I really like the Team Racing mechanics that Team Sonic Racing offers. I feel like it makes the game truly stand out from other kart racers and it doesn't feel intrusive. (except for when that d**m third AI team member lags behind in 12th Place. Though I've only had that happen to me a handful of times on Expert Difficulty)
+ I liked the customisation in the game. Not so deep that it can get overwhelming, but not so shallow that you can barely tell the difference between customised cars.
+ While the story itself is nothing to write home about, the challenges in Story Mode are fun. (most are similar to the World Tour mode side challenges from Transformed)
+ I think the game graphically looks good and I personally haven't had any framerate issues.
+ The OST is incredible imo.
+ When playing online, I didn't really experience much in terms of lag and finding players wasn't too bad. (though not great either. The most players I've found at a time is a room of 6 including myself)
+ I like that even if you're not interested in Team Races that there is at least an option to just play solo races.
+ Considering the gaming landscape we live in today, I am SO HAPPY that unlocking everything in Team Sonic Racing doesn't take hundreds of hours and/or additional costs to the cost of the game...
+ This isn't particularly a pro because opinions can really vary from person to person, but I'm not sure where else I'd really put this. That being said, I don't think the pace of the game is too bad when you realise that kart speed is faster on harder difficulties and your top speed increases the more rings you have.

Cons:
- I feel like the roster could have been better even if you didn't include other Sega properties in the game.
- I feel like a couple more tracks would've been nice.
- The track designs aren't nearly as dynamic as they were in Sonic and All-Stars Racing Transformed due to the removal of planes and boats.
- Online is really bad in terms of being disconnected. I've been disconnected from races at many different points. Before the race starts? Check. Mid race? Check. As I'm about to win/lose a race? Check. I'd say I've had it happen to me 7-8 times out of 10. Also, the lack of online ranked with friends is a real bummer. I heard about hackers already being a problem with online as well, but I've been lucky and haven't run into any. Don't get this version of the game for online multiplayer.

Summary: Is it better than Sonic and All-Stars Racing Transformed? Absolutely not. Is it a really fun game (in my opinion, almost as fun as Transformed) in its own way? I believe so. If you don't want to get the game due to any cons I or anyone else have listed, I totally understand (Heck. If I were basing this review JUST based off the online experience, I would be singing a VERY different tune in this review. Again, don't get this version of the game if you're only intention is to play online). However, I found the game to be really enjoyable and I'm very happy with my purchase of Team Sonic Racing.
