This was my first Yakuza as it was recommended to start here and i would recommend others to start here too if this game interest you.

I heard of the series before it came to PC but never thought too much about it, after watching a bit of game-play i dove in, I don't really know how to review this.....

Even though its Japanese i still get the comedy, there is a lot of reading which may put some people off, I am not much of a fan of having to read in games but with this series I can bare it as its funny around 50% of the time.

Combat, side stories are fun, the only downside for me is remembering all the combo's and moves in the different fighting styles.

Mini-games are fun apart from dancing and... shogi :|
Decent story, A lot of RNG in certain mini-games, which is an annoyance to collect the CP.... Also the grind to getting 100%...
Finally got 100% and then completed the story on legend difficulty after many years of playing on and off because of the final grind to get 100%.

So the game is pretty much just good old fun MOST OF THE TIME.

I got it for £5... For me its the best money i have spent on a game to be completely honest.

I cannot recommend at the moment due to constant crashes MAINLY.

Hopefully we get more vehicles and better sounds too.

Boost is also an issue as when in lower gears it goes to max yet the vehicle takes off as if you don't have a turbo. plus it cannot be tuned.

Gear Ratio has to be set to default before custom tuning or tweaking as the effects of the tweaks do not seem to work otherwise.

AI can be stupid and crashes when it can be avoided, i have unintentionally cheesed the opponents/racers about 5 times due to this,
3 battles where good battles which i then won easy and the other two battles i would have lost by hundreds of yards if they didn't crash into vehicles or pillars.

Exhaust area in terms of looks is lacking along with pretty much everything in the "AERO" selection,
Also it has a bug with the neon where a colour or 2 disappears then you go back into the menu and it appears.

The decal tool is annoying as it tends to stretch the graphics when it touches another part of the car so my cars are blank as i cannot get the decals to work in the design i want, plus it has a limited budget too.

So rather than a full yes its a 50/50

Ai is a little better, more of the same gameplay with less crashes,

although everytime i get to a 100 combo on beating rivals in one night the game crashes and then on a re-launch the game says i only have an 80 combo along with me discovering various bugs to unlock certain achievements, reported to Genki, however still there as i told a friend and he unlocked them the same way too.

Same issues persist as mentioned in the original review along with a new one.. if a move my mouse fast i can speed the game up.

So far it is a great game, a few bugs here and there, nothing major.

Story actually has me interested.

It maybe a week into early access but it is better than the "completed game" DDS as in no fake trailer with features that never came and game play is good.

Police are decent but i think there is room for improvement as i beat 5 officers unconscious with a bat after being tasered.

growing is good along with mixing not being a hassle... so far :P
Honestly i am just up to weed but don't want to progress for another hour or 2 as i want to save up cash so when another drug and/or feature is unlocked, i can progress that substance a lot faster

Thanks TVGS for the game i wanted but got never got.. Until Now :)

Have been playing Software Inc. on and off again for years now and this is probably the only early access game i can truly recommend, as the developer is always updating/improving the game and its systems,

Making it the only Early Access game I can look forward to a new update without thinking "what have they messed up now".

I Cannot wait for the next update.

There are a few things that could be improved upon, such as... when buying out the competition and creating a monopoly, a new company just pops up with nothing in the news or real impact of the sales but that could be down to difficulty settings. I haven't got any solid ideas so i cannot suggest anything to the dev.

Does not function correctly, I had to keep restarting the game to keep the employees working.
This should be early access, good concept and I can see this could be fun, rewarding and challenging but had bad implementation.

Excellent Single Player, What GTAV should have had in terms of activities.
Online Not So Much, however I Dont Care For Online Games Much.

EDIT: Since the latest update, i cannot login to social club and play single-player as other people have reported, until this is fixed, DO NOT BUY,

You used to get the full game, now you have to pay for what was already in game.. explicit content.
Stay away from this greed.

Got it for free a few years ago, now they are charging for it, pure greed stay away from the game.

Excellent gem of a game, I did see this on early access release day and ignored it until today 06/02/2022.
I thought it was not for me, but after wanting to try it for 10 mins or so i have accumulated a few hours.
A couple of quid, mindless fun for a few hours, a bit of a challenge and i would say luck based (only got to level 20 in one game) So i can recommend you give it a try.
Cant wait to see what more updates we get.

Still great indie game to kill time,
Some levels are a challenge although have completed a couple now, along with still regular updates (At the time of writing 22/11/22 ).

love the mods and love the challenge the game gives the player
