I'm honestly looking forward to Voidling Bound. It runs very smoothly, tho I do have a 5070 ti for a graphics card. Not something everyone has. But other reviews seem to not have any specific issue with how it runs.

What I love about Voidling Bound is the focus on PvE. I've been looking for a game that just lets me have fun, with a fun premise and lore. Usually, I've played multiplayer games. I don't like how live service makes me feel this FOMO or having to compete against other players all the time. This demo alone as fit a need when otherwise I would have been skeptical without any demo of a game.

There doesn't seem to be any preaching of politic like other games that are out there. Hopefully, the developers just focus on what makes sense for the game and its conflicts. Hopefully not related to pushing some irl agenda in the future. I say this because I did have some worry about the "the big bad business" trope, trying to make a subtle thing of *insert econ. thinggy* bad. But that was a false alarm. It's honestly sad I have express that for today's gaming, I want escapism not real world issues that I already see on social media.

With that out of the way for narrative. The gameplay is very intuitive. I love how rewarding it feels to get upgrades through evolving your specific Voidlings and the specie-wide upgrades. It seems the player is more trusted to just play the game, overcome and explore. Especially, I liked how I was rewarded when I was curious to go to the highest point possible, finding a little guy "quacking". But I don't see him in my ship, wish I was able to collect and have in my ship. Nonetheless, I love how I can spend a lot of time in just the demo alone, wanting to get and collect every variation of a Voidling specie.

The "gunplay" is intuitive and feels very satisfying. The animations are smooth. The art style is unique, rather than realism absolutism or hyper stylized. The creature design, I love a whole lot! Very cute, but ferocious. Human character design, it seems standard but fits with art style for the game. My player character design, very unique indeed.

The only few things I disliked is the standard key-binds. I don't use left-ctl for running, I use shift. But this can be fixed. I do hope for leaving a key space blank in favor of mouse only. I was hoping for more ways to explore areas, it does seem a bit lacking than what I once thought. The petting animation seems only good for the Gilick, then copy-paste as the only petting animation. I did see some wonky-ness with standing in a specific location that makes my Voidling's head go janky when they're trying to look at the player model.

Overall, this game is a work of passion and it shows like the bright, full moon in the night! If they keep up the lore and story to just make sense for what the game is rather than the tendencies of many game devs to push their politic message, then this is a must buy. I love how we as a human specie are working in tandem with nature and using human knowledge to evolve Voidlings and fight back against the bad that nature also does to threaten humanity. I love the premise, I reminds me from when I was a kid with these kinds of epic stories.

With great respect,
I wish this game the best it can possibly be!

It's fine, but it kinda feels like they cared more about Redsec than the main game. You know, what makes Battlefield... Battlefield. Gauntlet is the one I prefer out of Redsec, I like the lower time to kill and the down state. I think the down state would be pretty good for the main game because it allows you to think about if you should deny the enemy a possible revive or save your ammo.

The main game would benefit from a slower time to kill, but not as slow as redsec. With that said tho, I really don't care for the battle royale, or BR for short. IF the BF franchise had released a game like BF6 much earlier when BRs were popular to play (unlike the previous flops of BFV and BF2042), then the BR would have been, probably, more liked. Either way, my enjoyment of BRs started at PUBG, then never played BRs until when CSGO had (maybe still has) a BR.

Tying this to the main game kinda takes the soul out of Battlefield. AT LEAST, we have the main game, as I said, Redsec seems to be getting more attention. So, when are they going to take the soul of battlefield out of its identity for it to then just have a new identity where it looks like battlefield but the soul is replaced with something else?

The demo is very promising of what the full game will be. I don't usually play puzzle games, so it was a good introduction in this game genre. This plays on the concept that you are literally fighting against you to solve the puzzle of each room there is. I think it is interesting and a concept I haven't seen before.

The visual and audio art style reminds me of early 2000s games that I used to play on my grandfather's home computer. Although there is charm to this nostalgic style of video games, I do think there needs some polish. For example, the hands that kinda look like a mouth for the first skull (the one with big eyes staring at you) had jagged feel when those hands had opened up. If you could keep the claymation and finger print textured feel while also making sure there is no jagged feeling when something like a hand goes from closed to open, then that would really improve the game.

Overall, I think this game has a high potential to be a high quality puzzle game. If the quality of the introduction puzzles are as good as the demo in the final version, then I think you have a game which will achieve an overwhelming positive review from the Steam game distribution platform. However, do keep in mind, there are people like me who are new to puzzle games. So I think there needs to be a nice ramp up in difficulty that most can achieve to finish the game, but optionally people could play harder versions of the same puzzle or have something like a special area for super hard puzzles to solve. But, for sure, there is the option to do both.

Keep up the great work!
I can't wait to see the full game when it releases!

Do I recommend Battlefield 6... Yesn't.

Why am I so conflicted on this???
On one hand, the core gameplay is solid. On the other, you get challenges that detract from the core gameplay. I even have had MULTIPLE challenges that were bugged. Even when I tried a workaround, the recent update had patched out that workaround or maybe it just is that garbage that I can't even do said workaround.

What I really hate is the guns being locked behind the battle pass. What happens if I don't get them in time? Do I just... not get it at all? Well, it's ultimately forcing me to spend so many hours in this game that it would otherwise be impossible to actually do if I had a traditional 9-5 job. I can only be thankful for what I do now allows me more free time than normal, but that won't be the case for very long.

Either way... my opinion on this game had put me in a category of 50/50. On one hand the gameplay is solid, but on the other we're getting poisoned by practices you would see COD do. In the future, I might just abandon. Maybe BF6 is truly the start of an era for Battlefield where they massively change its identity where new games are just "Battlefield" in name.

This game, BF6, all it really is doing is rehashing old mechanics and trying to make it work with each other right off the bat. Rather than having to do too much new stuff to make it interesting for someone who's attention span is that of an iPad kid who has a TikTok account.

Personally, I think this is a good thing. When I come to a AAA game, I have certain expectations for the game like as if I were to go to Portillo's. I know what I'm going to get, it's food that does food things and taste really good. Battlefield 6 has this going for it because I already know what to expect after previously playing: BF4, Hardline and BF1 as the games that got me into the Battlefield franchise.

Where I think BF6 made mistakes is the newer mechanics that basically made it feel more akin to what COD decision making would be. No, not the sliding and other movement mechanics that modernize the game to feel more immersive. But those stupid challenges that I have to grind, and often be lucky, just so I can get a new weapon or gear. Really, that should've been reserved to the skins as part of bragging rights really.

If I were to rate BF6 out of 10 (with 5 being mediocre), then I would rate it about an 8/10 because of these COD decisions and still some bug fixes they need to get done before I bump it up to, at most, 9 out of 10. That is only if they squash the bugs, but keep the annoying ways to unlock the weapons.

As for campaign, I haven't tried it yet but I heard it was rushed.
From the premise this gave me, it seems to be the same "government good" and "business bad" type story that gets rehashed constantly. Even tho PAX is funded by governments, thus this isn't some private entity. Everything has a price, whether that be paying soldiers as part of NATO or PAX. Womp womp, It's clear the devs don't have good econ. philosophy.

For the time I have played it, 5.6 hours, this has been a really good Battlefield.
There are some improvements that could be made, but it really is just a nitpicking. For example, I think the user interface for the menu of the game needs to be updated. The horizontal design is just clutter of a mess, throwing all the info on there at once. This also applies to the UI while customizing the weapons and the other menus in the game like the challenges. Basically anything that has to do with horizontal UI, it really needs to be better at conveying the information than a bird shot shotgun splatter to the eyes.

Like I said, it is a nitpick. But here is my hope that EA doesn't fumble the ball for Battlefield 6.

I saw the light with Battlefield 6.
This game isn't even worth 3 dollars and I still want a refund.

It feels floaty and somehow clunky at the same time. Graphics suck. The operators are annoying. The UI feels like a mobile game and VERY cluttered. Sound is alright. Maps are fine.

I got this game waaaaay back when I was younger. It is practically nostalgic for me and I like to play it on the go with mobile as well. When I discovered this has a VR mode when I was looking around my game library while I was already in VR, I thought to play this while in VR.

I gotta say, the VR portion is interesting for how it is done. Surprisingly tho I get a great benefit while being in VR because I can better judge the distance of objects. It's a fun, fast pace game and the VR implementation was pretty well done. The only downsides are the head tilt and look control is very sensitive. I couldn't adjust my controls nor keybindings, but I usually play with arrows anyway for this game.

Note, due to how old this game and simple this game is, I don't think it actually is worth the $10 asking price. They need to bump it down to like $2 or $3 at most.

This is an old game (well experience), so I can't expect a whole lot out of it. It uses the HTC Vive Wand Controller standard back when this released. It is a pretty neat experience, but I wish I could replay a specific portion of the story. I was confused on how to exactly use the jet pack and it clearly wasn't working too well with the Index controller due to how it is positioned compared to the HTC Wand controller.

If I could give this a neutral, then I would. But Steam doesn't have that feature like back then. So I think it was an overall good experience, especially for it being free and not taking up too much of my time. It has a very linear guided experience and I can't replay specific sections. Thus why the "not taking too much of my time" is preferable.

So, with my first impression of the game, it seems to be nice as is. I came into it expecting this to just be a player designed scenery and character you can chill out to some music to. However, I was pleasantly surprised with the features for various ambient noise on top of the music and that I can go onto an in-game browser for listening to my own music. I do wish there was some local file location I could drop some of my own music, so I don't have to rely on internet access.

The art style looks good, but there needs to be more options for hairstyle. Maybe I still have more to unlock, so idk. I really like how well done the animation quality and design is for the spirits, aka pets. As for other various stuff you can select in the game, most of it has good design and variety to achieve a cohesive design that you'd have to intentionally mess up to make it look wonky. However, do note I said "most" because it has LGBT (Q+ If you like to add that, idc) stuff in the game that doesn't really fit. Some of it does fit alright, but I think most felt sloppy when applied to the game. One example is the mugs, it is literally just a image swap and kinda is a mental flash bang for art style consistency. It is of my own opinion, this should of stayed out of the game and been just some optional add-on if the player chooses.

Do note, I'm coming from the perspective as a gay individual and my hat in the social-political conversation isn't extreme. I've, in fact, recently been doing more criticism of persons who try to justify hate towards persons like me, a gay person. Seeing this game add in social-political content in a rather sloppy manner makes me a bit more on edge about how other design decisions refer to the real world politics. You know, I bought this game to escape reality for a bit, not invite.

Nonetheless, this is the section where I provide constructive criticism about this design decision.
I think most LGBT design could've stayed out of the game, but some of it is implemented well. Such as the drapes and some wall decoration design. However, I think most of it could have been a color picker design thing instead of it being a hard-coded purchase feature of the game. This would also allow for people to recreate flags of their own country or something of their own design the player's reason has. Sure, this would be OP, so I think it would be good as a higher priced item that needs to be bought each time that you make and finalize a change.

To conclude, for $12, I think this game is overall worth the purchase. But I do think if the base game was priced at $10, then I think this would be a better price justification. There are many features related to the music and sound that are high quality. The customization of the room, pet and person is overall good. But I do think there needs to be more hair styles (especially curly) and the LGBT representation could've been better applied than how it is right now.
