I absolutely LOVED this game. The story and characters are amazing. The exploration was always super fun and rewarding. If you can handle a lot of reading and care about lore and story, this game will blow you away.

I downloaded the demo when it had released because I saw that it was similar to Disco Elysium. That being said, I can honestly say that this might actually be BETTER than Disco Elysium.

My only cons(if you can really call them that):
Voice Acting would have been very nice for people that don't want to do so much reading.
Some sort of fast travel or a more clear map in areas would have been nice.

Well, I was gonna leave a positive review initially because I was having a ton of fun and getting into like 5-6 million range every couple runs but it seems like ever since I've unlocked the 4th drawer, I've done about 30 runs and haven't had a single good run. Not even able to get passed like the 4th deadline now. Not sure if something changed after opening the 4th drawer in the background that makes the game much harder or if I've had the biggest streak of bad luck but something needs to be done about maybe adding permanent upgrades, bad luck protection to an extent, something...

This game is a great mix of a type of random autobattler with a blend of some skill and timing added in to make things more interactive and fun. I had an awesome time playing this demo and cannot WAIT to play the full game. I'd be more than happy to join for any playtests or betas coming up if you want more feedback on things.

Before I get into my review, let me just clarify a few things for people interested in the game:

There is no combat/action gameplay.

This is very much an on the rails detective story.

It is not much of a puzzle and not difficult to solve things because the game points it all out to you.

THAT BEING SAID:

The atmosphere is amazing.

The voice acting was good enough to keep engaged.

The storyline was fantastic.

The mood and setting is one of my favorites(Feels like a cross between Blade Runner or Cyberpunk mixed with old noir detective settings.)

If you are interested in a great story with multiple endings and some meaningful choices throughout then this is a great choice.

If you're looking for something more action based with shooting and hard to solve cases/etc, this isn't it.

I personally enjoyed my first playthrough of this game and will definitely be going back to experience the other choices and endings.

Looking forward to seeing what this dev team makes next!

I played this game and had a ton of fun for many hours. I honestly felt guilty about how much I was enjoying myself with this game for free that I had to buy the $5 donation DLC. Keep going with this game and start charging for it! Even if it's only a couple bucks, you deserve it on this one.

This game was an amazingly good time especially for a free game! Spent 3 hours just trying to make wild builds and had so much fun! Slap a price tag on this, it deserves it!

This is a veryyy fun game with awesome characters, skills, and weapons. Every run feels so different and there are some builds that allow you to feel amazingly powerful! If you enjoy shooter games with RPG elements and roguelite style runs, this is a game for you!

Never been much of a fan of Roguelike games but man... This game REALLY hooked me. The story, music, characters, voice acting, combat, choices, EVERYTHING is just amazing. I also never leave reviews for games but this one is just too good and it needs all the praise it deserves! It can be VERY challenging at times but when you get a good run with all the right boons, man, it feels SO GOOD!
