Don't play this anymore since like a few weeks. Still bought the badge because the developers deserve this. Even if the game would not be for you, the amount of effort,dedication and the way the developers handle themselves and the fanbase is something to be admired.
I will probably pick this up again in a few months and the game itself is a fantastic sandbox where you can you go with whatever you want and find interesting. Happily endorsed and hope (once it is a bit further along) I will pick up Cyberknight Flashpoint (from the same developers) as well.

Game never let me down after my initial review. It is that good. Only downside is there isn't more.

Chained Echoes is a love letter to old school RPG's that you loved. FF?, Chrono Trigger, Star Ocean, Earthbound. However like them it is its own game. The battle system is refreshing and surprisingly deep, the story is enjoyable and real (just like the charaters which have actualy reasons for doing stuff) the graphics are amazing somehow old and new at the same time and the it is just a fun and enjoyable game to progress in. Must play RPG of this decade.

Learned about this game 3 days ago. I'm really happy it was just then because I couldn't have waited for a game this fun for that long. All parts of this game are designed with a clear vision and idea behind it. The exploration is engaging and rewarding and makes for a very unique and 'I want to see more' kind of of game. Developer of the game of responsive and open to idea and quick with bugs reported in every channel. If you're missing an old school JRPG with lots of secrets, humor and passion int it play this and don't look back.

PS: Play this without a guide/the discord spoilers. You'll feel like you actually accomplished something at the beginning, the middle (and probably because I'm not there yet) the end.

Here to write a review because the end told me to...:P One of the first RPG makers games that I completely played through. An engaging story and a robust combat system reminding me of Octopath Traveler. I have 40 hours in it and played through most of the content. Real characters, fun battles and a good pace throughout the whole game. Every battle (including random battles) has a chance to wipe you out which keeps you honest. Good sense of progression through the entire game.If you like JRPG's buy it and I promise you will enjoy it.

This game ticks so many of my boxes it is amazing. Yes this is an alpha and yes there are multiple things to fixed. Animations, feel in combat and smoothness, but at the core this game does a lot of things right. The setting is good and the progression makes it feel rewarding. I only played this for a little while but will be closely monitoring this game (especially with the amazing dev work being done on it atm) If what is shown is delivered at the end bug free and running smoothly I might just buy the game again just to show support.
