Thanks for trying to help me, the glitch has already been fixed for me for some reason. I already tried task manager and it didn't work though :/ (Gmod was already force closed and steam still thought I was playing it)

Hello, random person. About the gmod glitch. It's happened to me a few times, but one of the fixes, for me atleast, was to go into task manager and look of HL2 or Gmod. Something along the lines of that. End task, and voila.
