Bethesda hates the people that play its decade old games rather than buying new games constantly, so they choose to break mods. Horrid company big thumbs down

Fix your ♥♥♥♥ capcom, the game doesn't work. If I try and retry like 10 times, I'll get it going without crashing for a couple hours if I'm lucky. so 60 hours later, I've opened the game probably 500 times. This shouldn't have been released yet, and not for 70 bucks.

EDIT: Asking for reviews for GOTY is pathetic. I can't even beat the game properly because a quest right before the end is permanently bugged out. CAPCOM isn't a game dev company, they're out for theft. This game is still a bugged out POS.

T R A S H! This game is the most poorly optimized, buggy piece of ♥♥♥♥ I've bought on steam to date. I shouldn't need to restart the game 8 times before I actually load in to a multiplayer game. Fix this buggy garbage. The art style is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ lame too.

Amazing ports/remasters, multiplayer works well. Minor bugs but the game is still being actively updated, and it is more than playable.

This game is pretty amazing, and it's great fun with some friends, but it has some problems that make me hate it. The servers are absolute utter trash, probably 30% of my missions will load in and then just disconnect me a few minutes in. Sometimes it will get stuck searching for sessions or quests forever. In expeditions (world free roam) monsters will just up and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ leave in the middle of a fight, ruining the point of even trying to kill them. Capcom has also loaded up a full $60 game with microtransactions, which should be illegal. The hitboxes on some enemy attacks could use some work, I've looked back at recordings showing an attack clearly missing me, still killing, which is a little annoying. When searching for players to join missions, most of the time it will fail to join the quest because it won't remove the quest from view when it is full.

Overall, game is loads of fun and I would recommend it, but capcom dropped the ball on servers and the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ microtransactions. It just feels unpolished and needs more quality of life changes, which is a shame because they will probably never fix it.

RotTR is such a disappointment compared to the older games. The story, graphics, and gameplay are all fine, crafting is annoying but fine, but what really bothers me is how much they hold your hand. I killed a bear that was a scripted event, can't proceed without doing it, and a popup just shows up saying if I go to the ingame market I can receive a free upgraded axe. Like, I want to earn that stuff. Rewards are supposed to be hidden away in hard to notice spots, not just given to you for nothing. If, at any point, you aren't sure what comes next, just hit Q and it highlights exactly where to go and what to do, as well as any loot thats visible. Is it really tomb raiding if everything is handed to you?

This isn't a bad game, but it isn't really a proper TR game, just like the 2013 game. In the games this is inspired by, you actually explore, defend yourself through tombs, and you aren't just killing people the entire time, and when you take a little extra time to explore, you find the good stuff. Maybe it's just nostalgia speaking, but this game makes me really sad. Not everything has to be crafting and resource hunting to be a fun and time consuming game. It's a convenient excuse to add fluff that doesn't add any real content.

worth the money if it's on sale and you can handle everyone looking like they have down syndrome (seriously the face models are ♥♥♥♥♥♥ awful)
