This game is awesome as a medieval city builder. I have spent many many hours having fun designing villages and towns and learning the mechanics of the game with the logistics required to move products from produce to market. If you want to learn how to start small back in the day with a medieval style gameplay, awesome graphics and to think that only one dev produced this game, this is an major achievement from my perspective and good luck to everyone building their villages and towns. May they prosper and strive!

A few hints:
the town is best placed in the centre of the cross of the trade points at the borders
once you find the centre, put a church there
then a market around the church
once you have a ring road around the church and market
then place artisans around that
then another ring road
then burgages with chickens and goats
another ring road
then burgages with vegetables
another ring road
then farms
another ring road
then forester houses to replant trees

in between all that, place granaries and storehouses
and markets often like 10 stalls every 2 blocks

Hope this helps you all build your own fabulous town!

I have noticed that multiple smaller branch villages leading to a larger town in the centre seems to work the best so far from my testing in the game, similar to crop circle designs, which in the end some are based upon mathematical geometrics

This the best game i have ever played since Leisure Suit Larry and of course Pong..hahaBut seriously, this game is seriously awesome. I am loving every section of the game and map...Sure, you start with nothing, but slowly and surely your loot increases with every stash that you hide whilst continuing to loot for more loot..I have over 2000 slots of storage now and have every slot filled and i still need more storage space, so im off to do some raids..One thing i noticed is, it said i had played DayZ for 382 hours in the last two weeks. Seeing as there is only 336 hours in two weeks, either i am hardcore playing DayZ cos i love it, or the algorithm isn't correct....Anyway, no biggie...Main thing is, for anyone who wants to purchase it, seriously its only $70, which is not an arm and a leg... I know some ppl are whinging that it costs too much, but hey, if it was double the price, i still would have paid for it, and I will deffo purchase any new content from Dean Hall and the dev crews working [under/beside/with] him..It takes a keen eye to be appreciative of all the work put into this gameI should think about eating tho...I am getting hungry....for loot, raids, base building, fishing, camping, exploring, sightseeing, navigating, hunting, and of course enemies and hopefully friends too....See you all on the map, ppls..:-)Thank you Dean Hall and ALL the Devs too and of course Bohemia Interactive
