In 2015 I started to use STEAM. After 7 years and almost 9 months one day I couldn't login and found an e-mail about changes to account texted in Thai language - which I don't speak. I took this account back with Steam Support help - proven my ownership. When I login back to my profile I saw:
;All friends unfriended + 1 new stranger from Japan who was on friend list online at the time
;my profile name was changed to Qq , profile picture changed
;Inventory: CS:GO Crates, skins and game cards got sold in Market fast (I did not calculated the loss but I believe it isn't very much worth money, I had like about 250 hours in total on the game), appeared DOTA2 5x cheap items for $5 (I never tried the game, our currency in Lithuania is EURO: €)
;profile set private, Salien 2018 appeared, Achievements showcase changed
;Location: Do Not Show / Do not display
;no chats found
;Family View OFF
;comments deleted on my profile (was not many)
;summary cleared (I had typed my PC specs before and after upgrades)

Soon the same thing happen to my Friend who had more CS:GO inventory than me but he was not kicked from his account when changes to profile started to happen. Same market dealers.

Me and Friend added Authentificators to Steam Guard (I already had it for awhile before this happened).

Bought new SSD in 2023 March and in just one week got some malware and this time it was texting links to friends to buy $50 fake Steam gift cards.
