Pretty much captures everything that made The Thousand Year Door great for me, the combat feels familiar but with new ideas and mechanics (shields, stacked enemies and more), the writing is pretty great too imo and the humor usually landed for me. Characters were great too and the dialogue has the same charm Paper Mario had.

Objectively a pretty ok game but it's just not for me, don't buy if:
- You prefer a more traditional progression style in your RPG with levels, progression in this game mainly involves unlocking and upgrading skills which means progression is mostly horizontal and it's hard to tell if you are too strong/weak for an encounter.
- You don't like long and lethal encounters with regular enemies, the game is designed in such a way that there are less encounters but regular enemies are quite tanky and can hit harder than bosses sometimes.
- You prefer a less restrictive style of turn-based combat. The overdrive system, while innovative, often forces you to choose moves that are suboptimal or deviate from the strategy you originally had in mind in order to keep the bar in the green.
- You are particular about dialogue and character writing. IMO the overall plot is fine but I had a hard time getting attached to any of the characters, the game introduces 6 party members over 2-3 hours and the dialogue often feels heavy-handed. Characters will literally just explain their backstories and motivations in detail out loud which felt kind of forced, and didn't get enough individual time in the spotlight to get me to care about them.

Choose-your-own-adventure-type VN with a pretty interesting story, didn't find it too scary but there are a lot of tense and thrilling moments which worked well. I think the game is best experienced completely blind so I won't say much else but I liked it :)

Pretty fun and unique roguelike with quite a lot of content and playstyle options despite the early access label, looking forward to more updates!

Very polished demo for a pretty unique roguelike! Might take a while to get used to the controls but it's pretty satisfying to play and the enemy variety is good. Looking forward to seeing what else is in the full version.

Pretty fun & chill game with lots of things to do, the only thing holding it back is that there aren't many active players so it's hard to form lobbies for some of the minigames. Recommend playing with friends for the best experience.

A lot less complicated and easy to pick up than Oxygen Not Included which might not be a good thing for some people, but as a Colony Sim noob the game is fun enough to progress through despite it being fairly linear. It does fall off quite hard towards the end where you're basically just grinding through combat encounters with nothing else to do, but everything up till that point was enjoyable for me.

TLDR recommended unless you're looking for something on the same level of depth as ONI.

Took a while to grow on me but it's pretty fun

Really fun and fast-paced movement shooter that distinguishes its combat through its movement system and momentum control. Most if not all the weapons in the game allow you to apply some kind of force onto yourself and once you get the hang of it I think it's incredibly fun along with the rest of the weapon abilities. A bit lacking in terms of story at the moment but the game is fun enough regardless.
