My first Civilizations game, and can safely say that it's one of my favorites.
I've spent hundreds of hours within this game and barely made a dent in the full content of the game.
Something I definitely prefer about Civ 3 over 4,5, and 6. Is the map size, a regular map on Civ 3 is a large map on Civ 4 and Civ 5. I've never attempted the largest map size (Containing 16 players compared to Civ 4-5 having 11 and 12), but on just a large map it will take at-least 30+ hours to beat one game.
Strongly recommend if you like long term strategy games.

This is such an amazing game i will just try to describe it in as little worlds as possible:

I played this for a little while, it was good, kind of a mix between call of duty, DayZ and eliments from battlefield.
Doesn't seem pay to win so far, graphics are pretty nice. gun play feels a little weak. but all around its a decent game.

Except for the F**King cancerous community. Who thought freindlyfire was a good idea for a game with small maps?
This game is littered with 7 year olds who keep team killing you. and when you ask them if they could watch where they shoot, or stop team killing. they respond with "SMD"
This game has one of the worse communities of any game ive ever played. and its quite a shame really, this game is pretty enjoyable. but not acutally being able to play the game without getting team killed at least 10 times in one round, by the same 1-5 people is a deal breaker. i will be uninstalling this game after this review.

DO NOT PLAY unless you are completely fine with getting 2/3 of your deaths from your team.

Want to get better at digging? Go shoot 10 zombies for 1,000xp.
Want to get better at farming? Go shoot 8 zombie dogs for 1,800xp.
Want to get a weeks worth of food? Go to the 2nd blue house on the left and kill all 12 zombies.
Want to upgrade your science skills? Go complete 15 dungeons in hopes of finding the correct (randomly spawning) magazines that you are required to read in order to progress in technology.

Been playing since 2016, seeing every version from Alpha 14 to release, spending about 450 hours in Alpha 15 to Alpha 17. I have witnessed this game transform from a niche community of only 8,000 current players to a super giant with 125,000 current players. In the same time I have watched this game completely change genres, from a hardcore zombie survival sandbox to a role-playing zombie dungeon crawler.

No more does the game reward players for engaging in survivalist, scavenging behaviors, when the quest system rewards players with the best items in the game.
No more can you approach looting a house in any imaginable way, when developers have designated courses, event triggers, and treasure boxes inside every building.
No more do you get more skillful with tasks by performing them, now you can level up any skill by just shooting enough zombies.

My original review dates back to Jul 18, 2017 @ 11:17am, and was overwhelmingly positive of this game, however I cannot recommend this game anymore to anyone actually interested in a zombie survival. Maybe I'll return to this game with a version rollback. But modern 7 days to die is not the genre that I purchased.

A highly enjoyable game for those who love global conquest.

Although it does have its (pay to progress faster) aspects to it, this game is solid -- Just beprepared to spend a weekend playing just to unlock a weapon.
As well as very few meaningful updates.

✅ Solid shooting.
✅ Good graphics.
✅ Depth to Gameplay.
✅ Decent weapon balance.
✅ Realistic weaponry.
✅ No Pink camos in a WW2 Game.
❌ Poor performance even on an Ryzen 5.
❌ Slow progression.
❌ Lack of updates.
❌ No Hisorical Accuracy -- Why is Russia fighting the US?! Everything was good till then!

6/10: Okay

Overall a good game to kill some time with but with one major flaw.

Horrific: Limited Content
Bad: Game has around 20 Players on at one time.
Annoying: Costs when F2P games of the same nature have more content.

(For everyone who does not want to read all of this, basically i said the cons out way the pros and i only recommend this for people who have friends to play with and a beafy system) But for the avg player no i do not recommend this game.


This game had very high potential as the sequel to one of my favorite games Planetside 1, Improved graphics, better shooting mechanices, larger maps, 2000 players per server.

To the games credit, this game looks great. Even though the new (Ultra) was the old (High).

The maps they look great! But they don't play so great, the bases are not designed well, but oh wait Remember Nexus battle island? Remeber how the trailer came out in 2013. That looked great! how does it play? no one knows.. its still not releast yet.. But hey at least there is hossin.. and no one plays on hossin. (Probably because hossin nukes your machine due to poor optimization.)

And that brings me to my next point. Performance, Something has gone terribly wrong when the game has worse performance then launch over 5 years ago. and this is on top of the fact that they secretly lowered the player count to ----1000---- I have well above this games "Recommended hardware" and my fps can go in the mid 20s on Medium settings, So just don't play in large fights.. Oh wait.. thats what planetside is all about.

Shooting mechanices. While this games shooting mechanices are a improvement of planetside 1's there is not denying there is MUCH work needed to be done to improve.

Also HACKING, anyone with a note pad and a code can hack there game and they won't get caught. because Anti-Cheat does not check modfied settings.

And i think thats why a good 2/3s of the community has left to better games, there is just better things avalible.

This game was suppose to a 2nd installment of a great game. Planetside 1, but instead this game is a big MEH. with pink camos and poor optimization. Ive played this game for years, and not just on Steam. So in my eyes this game is not recommended unless you got top of the line hardware and a group of friends to play, but this game will get boring over time.
