I bought this game within 10 minutes of it coming out as it piqued my interest during the steam demo-fest, it's worth the price tag for what it offers and the gameplay loop is engaging.

The only downsides here are that at a certain point, the game runs itself and you can sit back and watch while you literally just print money automatically and figuratively print money from the front. The game definitely needs more content as it quickly falls off at a certain level, but for 10$ I can't complain for what's currently included.

17 hours in, and here's my opinions;

The car itself is really easy to handle, and drives even better than my car irl. The abilities are a neat touch and I find myself just never stopping for any anomaly after I've scanned it once; The warrens are the easiest to deal with, speed right through them and turn on your LIM blocker right before they hit your car and they bounce right off.

The auto shop upgrade mechanic is something else, the first time I saw that I literally went to my boyfriend on discord (who I was streaming it to) "this ♥♥♥♥ is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ COOL, ive never seen this in a game before" and I have also never seen a game repopularize the use of pneumatic tubes, so there's points for creativity.

Now the bad;

So far I've only encountered 2 bugs, both of which quitting back to the menu/restarting the game solved quickly (screen tear in the auto shop, or weird ♥♥♥♥ floating in the middle of the air of the auto shop) and never had any bugs or glitches while playing the game.

I'm not a massive fan of the diagnosis minigame, me personally, would have been just fine if the feature never existed. Your car gets "quirks" from taking too much damage, and then you have to figure out in 8 guesses what the quirk is to repair it. Sometimes it's easy to tell (you hit the breaks and the radio turns on) or sometimes it's something esoteric like if the car is on an incline the fuel starts leaking or some ♥♥♥♥ that you're not going to notice on the road.

The story itself isn't exactly the most unique, but it's not cookiecutter either. You're sucked through the wall and you get help from disembodied voices to help you survive/escape, and it turns into solving some sort of huge secret, and then francis dies trying to help you enter the inner zone or whatever it's called. that's where im at right now, so I'll update the end of the story when I finish it

for all of my ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about the bad, the game is actually pretty good and it shows how much love the developers have put into it. get it while it's still on sale, you're not going to be disappointed.

the graphics look sort of like if OSRS was a 3d first person game to me, and the game sort of just feels like most if not all the assets come from the unity store, no idea if it's just me but the trailer looks a lot better visually than actually playing the game. might be because it's only showing action, dunno.

as a programmer, it's much more simple to build a discord bot using this program as you don't have to worry about "why is this code not working", look on stackoverflow for 2 hours for an answer, and then add an extra ')' and it starts working. bmd has a simplistic, and refined interface and active community for support in the unlikely event you don't know how to make the bot send a message, or you're like me and you chat with rat on (insert describing complex and obscure function and asking her if that'd even work)

i highly suggest this program for anyone wanting to get into bot development, or is a developer and want to try something else in making discord bots. Rat herself is the primary and only developer, provides helpful and active support, and makes it clear that she's not putting it on steam to profit off it as it's drm-free and she has said "you can share it with your friends".

10/10, the price tag is well worth it for this program as it's a powerful tool for newbies and veterans alike
