Wobbledogs was the game I was looking for. If you enjoyed the experience of feeding creatures stuff and seeing the mutate cause of it then I would highly recommend this game. It's enjoyable seeing they are able to mutate and hoping you get the right mutations or seeing what other types of mutations there are. Highly enjoyable. Would've bought it full priced if I discovered it before the summer sale of 2022! Thank you devs for making this game.

I loved chao garden from sonic battle adventure 2 and I been looking forward to seeing another sonic game with the chao garden ever since. Nothing came of it and I wondered if anyone made something similar and my on and off hunts only got a couple of fanmade games that doesn't go deep into the customization of the actual creature itself. They may have minigames that the chao garden had but not the mutation. Steam summer sale comes by and I see this weird game pop up. It's like fate has put us together. God bless the developers for making this game. Within the first hour I knew I would love this game and I am looking forward to seeing how many mutations there are in the game. Thank yoooooooooou ahhhhhhhhhh. The search ended.

When will chao garden make a return? It was honestly what made this game enjoyable for me. Running levels again to pick up those pesky animals and then tossing them at the chao to witness them steal the body parts of said animals tossed at them was enjoyable. I was hoping they would continue with it down the line but it doesn't seem to be the case.

The base game itself is mildly enjoyable. You play as 8 different characters running through the very basic missions in order to stop/help the other characters perform their duties. It's enjoyable and forgettable. Not bad or good but the pc port felt odd compared to the gamecube version and would suggest a controller. Not needed but may feel better. I have the sonic adventure battle 2 dlc bought so keep that in mind if using this review to judge.

If anyone knows of a chao garden like game then please let me know. One that has a basic entity that will morph in according to the stuff you provide it and have various different ways of increasing some of its stats to compete against other entities. Surely there must be one after so many years.

After the fall is a fun vr wave shooter game. It revolves around you entering these harvesting sites, clearing them for harvest which is just the currency for the game and then returning back to hub. You just clear an area, head to another area and clear that until you get to the end which usually has a boss or a really big wave from what I experienced.

The reward for completing harvest runs is obviously the harvest currency which you spend on attachments/new guns and equipment in harvest runs. The other reward would be attachments for your guns. This is somewhat annoying as you can get dupes of weapons which means you need to do runs quite a bit and it doesn't show what quality the attachments are so its a shot in the dark until you get the first couple.

Attachments changes the way the gun looks slightly and there are weapon skins which are obtained by doing challenges with that specific gun. Either clearing out hordes of mobs or landing a certain amount of head shots in a row so if your into that then this game has that.

The downside of this game is simply the fact you will at least need one other player to complete maps. The bots are terrible. They are good for clearing out the hordes but once it comes to the boss fight which every maps have then its entirely up to you to solo it. If you haven't have much experience with the boss then you would end up going down as the boss has a one shot move which will kill you if your don't run until it finishes it. This took a while to learn and even then its hard to pull off as your most likely the last one alive and any mistakes will end the run. Even if you aren't, the bots will go down soon enough and if you were to go down then you get to witness them just stare at the boss while shooting then die.

Now the other downside is that it takes a while to find one other player. Sometimes you get lucky and somebody joins instantly and get to go or your just sitting in the lobby waiting for somebody. Maybe you just get somebody that joins then instantly leave. It would've been fine if the bots are somewhat manageable but knowing that I am just gambling on the 20% of the time everything works out that it just gets frustrating. Also there's a chance you have a bad connection to them or the other way around so they all could disconnect at the end which is sad as they miss out on the rewards. Had that happen once and had multiple disconnects from hosts other times.

A small nitpick is that the boss for the instant kill move doesn't make any noises so if your looking away for a moment and miss it then you'll usually end up dead. It's usually fine if its just the boss but usually the game throws the boss in with a wave ongoing so it gets hectic at times. Its manageable with players but bots...expect 2 or more dead by the time the wave is dead and the boss is left.

Overall its a fun game with players but terrible if your expecting to go through the game alone with bots on veteran difficulty. All of the players I met that had voice chat enabled are pretty nice and chill on the north america server.

Walkabout Mini Golf VR is just as it says. A VR mini golfing game in which you control a floating head with a stick tryna to put balls in holes. If you ever played mini golf before then it functions similar to it. In which you are provided courses in where your objective is just to putt the balls into the hole within a certain amount of tries for 18 different holes. The golfing feels completely fine and there are times where I feel like I got cheated but its not so often that I would stop playing this game.

The courses are pretty enjoyable and are reasonable with pars. You can achieve them if you plan your putts and line them out. You can do some crazy shots if you think out of the box and go for some of the crazier shots. If your planning to land as many holes in one. If your aiming for those crazy shots then I would highly suggest holding the grips to allow the shot to play out as not doing so will cancel that shot if its mid air or out of bounds for too long. Learned this recently and IT WOULD'VE BEEN NICE TO KNOOOOW. Now I know and I spread the knowledge.

The courses are designed quite nicely and its relatively easy to understand where to go for the next course. You can teleport to each course's holes if you don't feel like teleporting/walking to the next one as well. Multiplayer functions fine with the group of friends and no major issues has occurred....well aside from me being robbed of some crazy shots that time out due to lack of knowledge of that specific feature.

Overall a very good vr golfing game. God bless that person who found this and suggested it to the group of friends. Its been very enjoyable despite me playing like a man with no head. Full power that shot up the hill to have it bounce towards that hole...or overshoot it into orbit sometimes.

Superliminal is a weird game to experience. It's a puzzle game which relies heavily on messing with your senses. I would suggest going into this game with as little information as possible as the magic would only work when you are unaware of whats going on. Its an extremely fun puzzle game which involves thinking out of the box at times. If your into the puzzle genre then I would suggest giving this game a try. You can complete a good chunk of it quickly if you understand the puzzles moderately fast.

Boneworks is a rather amazing vr game that shows how much details that a vr game can provide over a desktop experience. You can open a locker with the tip of the crowbar going through the handle and then swinging it open. Then slam it shut by well slamming the locker door with the crowbar close. This experience made me realize just how much vr can grow and I spent a good 10 minutes just messing about with that fact. Picking up tables with the crowbar then shaking a teddy bear around and watching each limb move is just something else to witness up close.

However the melee and gunplay lacked quite a bit for me personally. Guns and melee weapons felt terrible to use as they required constantly holding down the grip buttons on the vive on launch day. This means if your playing in a long session then you will eventually cramp your hands and have to stop for a while. I believe they fixed this issue but it was a major downside. Another thing is the guns felt small. They felt very small, so small that reloading was often more of an chore then it is a fun experience. Realizing I need to reload then awkwardly try and reach for an ammo which sometimes works and sometimes doesn't. Pick it up from the ammo pack and then constantly missing the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ slot to push it in. It was so frustrating that I dread whenever I ran low on ammo. It means going through that experience. Once again this is from launch day and could have been fixed.

But putting the constant gripping issue and reloading issues from launch day aside...its still an amazing vr experience. Putting objects in a containers actually makes it function the way you expect a normal container would function. You can put loads of objects into a shopping cart, move it across the entire level and not have to worry about objects clipping through the cart. The fact that was possible blew my mind.

If your looking for a vr experience that shows how much vr can transform your gaming experience then I would highly suggest giving boneworks a try as well with half life alyx.

Deep rock is a game all about mining those ores or killing some pesky bugs. Mission controls provide a variety of missions within the couple of regions that range from go mine a bunch of this one specific ore, kill this very big bug, protect this giant drill, Extract some liquid from the planet and a couple others that I am blanking on. They come with secondary objectives which is optional and will provide more rewards when completed.

However the missions aren't the star of the show here. I would say its the randomly generated environments that are themed to the region you selected the mission in. Every time you go in to mine some ore in this one specific region, its never the same layout. Maybe its a big open cavern or perhaps its all closed and boxed in. This gives the game the "holy crap this looks amazing" feeling when you go into a tight narrow tunnel then see it open up to this very beautiful scenery of alien like things....then a feeling of dread when you see a bunch of hazards in the way. I love that sense of oh ♥♥♥♥ what am I going to do when I eventually get swarmed by bugs? Will I try and setup a couple of escape paths here, or will I fall to my death in that hole there....oh wait I need to go all the way up to mine some mineral and oops. I fell to my death yet again. Its a very very enjoyable experience in that regard.

However it is not the entire experience. There is also the fact you can upgrade the skills of the four characters you are provided with. Each gear has their own little skill trees which allows you to focus on migrating a problem that gear may have. Maybe your gun has too little ammo so you grab the extra ammo skill. Maybe it has too little damage so you instead go for that. These skills can drastically help out when your out in the field and may need that extra bit of ammo or damage to escape the cave you are sent into and make it out alive. These gear upgrades will require ores that you can find in certain regions of the planets. These upgrades are locked behind levels and each character has their separate levels.

There are also the perk skill tree which you obtain from completing milestones. They can also help migrate some problems. Do you feel slow then grab that perk that speeds you up passively? Kept falling to your death then grab that active perk which lets you hover as soon you push this button mid air. At the start you can only hold onto one active and one passive perk but can open up more slots as you progress in the game.

The game is also playable solo in which you are provided a bot called bosco who will help out with the gunning down of bugs, revives and mining. Bosco is also upgradeable the same way the gear are on a different computer. Thanks to him I find solo actually playable as he is able to provide a lot of utility that would have been missing from playing with a group.

Overall I love this game and would suggest grabbing it if you enjoy exploring randomly generated maps that involves some thinking of how you will complete the missions without dying. Some of the missions do get boring but the maps more then make up for that with the way you have to think about how to handle it.

Payday 2 is a game that revolves around heists. Heists that are provided by some contractor called Bain. Bain sends you all around the local area committing various acts of robbery on local store owners, banks and breaking some guys out of jail. The payment for doing these things successfully is obviously money, fame and a chance of weapon attachments, masks, mask materials and mask patterns.

You can use the money to buy new weapons or attach weapon attachments to your guns, create new masks with a fresh look. There are loads of guns to choose from and most of them support some form of attachment that adds or changes the looks of the gun. It’s fun just being able to customize guns like this but they don’t make a major difference in terms of usability in most cases. It’s pretty good fun but it does require the grind as most attachments are locked behind rng.

The missions has two different types of modes. There’s loud which you go in guns blazing trying to complete the objective whilst fighting off hordes of cops. Stealth which is well you sneak around the place trying to not get spotted by the guards, civilians and cameras. Both are fun in their own ways. Every time you successfully complete a mission you’ll get sent to a screen where you are to choose a card

Each card represents loot and choosing one will show you which type of loot you got and then after a couple seconds shows you which pool you got it from. To simplify this you select a card, get shown an image representing money, fame, weapon attachments, masks, mask materials, mask patterns and then after a couple seconds it’ll show you what you got based on that first image.

Now is payday 2 a fun and enjoyable game? I would say it is. It does have its bugs that can ruin some runs. Especially if you're doing stealth online where you could see the body but if you're not the host then it could be in a completely different spot. This is obviously bad as guards, npcs and cameras may be able to spot the body where you think it's safe. This was a run killer for a couple of games and was also really annoying for the more difficult stealth ones. There is also the grind.

You also have to complete a mission to gain a chance of unlocking weapon attachments, masks and the such. This means either finding a really easy mission to quickly run through multiple times or playing through the mission that provides the currency to straight up buy attachments. You only have to do that mission once to afford any attachment once for a single gun.

If you don’t mind those then I highly suggest it and if you're on the fence then give it a shot when it's on sale since it does go for cheap. There is a lot of dlc but they expand on the gameplay and aren't required to complete the base maps that are in the game. The only bad part is that you’ll see the DLC REQUIRED quite a bit when looking through the weapons, masks and maps. You can test run maps by joining somebody else that has to see if you personally would enjoy it.

Monkey hates bloons. Monkey shoot bloons. Bloons sends powerful bloons. Monkey blows up bloons. It turns into an allout warfare between an hostile monkey and a neutral bloon that just follows a path. Sending in possibly millions to pass through the monkeys. Why? How? Idk.

Saw this game while looking for a maplestory like game and I am glad to say its actually pretty enjoyable. You do require at least 3 people to run the dungeons but the bosses are fun to fight against and all four classes have their uses in each dungeon. I do wish that they have more solo content, more equipment stats, more bosses. Other than that its a solid free to play title and would suggest grabbing a pair of buddies to join you or join another's person party if they are at the town center.
