I had fun with this one, especially the small dive into Polish-Lithuanian history. Short game though...less than 8 hours. But we enjoyed our time.

This is one of my favorite games of all time.

The graphics and ambience of the game are to die for. Every single detail has been meticulously implemented to create a living and (sometimes literally) breathing world.

Fans of the Half-life series will find many references to HL1 as well as reoccurring enemies and objects from HL2.

It does not feel like a rehash of HL2 though. HL-Alyx is something special. Something unique. I have cherished every minute I spend in this world and the Virtual Reality component is what really drives that home.

Get ready for intense firefights, tense moments of horror ambience, and the occasional moment of levity; all mixing together in one of the greatest experiences of all time.

I love the retro look yet modern gameplay mechanics. And you get 50 games in the collection! I'm finding that each game takes around 1.5 hours to 4 hours to beat (not with 100% completion...that takes longer).
Definitely worth a shot.

Really fun take on the shooter/rogue-like genre. I like the shooter/scavenger approach the game takes. Unique feel: Highly recommend.

I have loved this game for years and still love it. From the downbeat, it is right in your face. I have always been a big fan of the Strogg in every one of their game appearances, and this takes it in directions not visited in the other titles.

Happy to revisit after so many years!

Power Trip fantasy game where you beat up monstrous vampires in a steam punk version of the American wild west. And it's great.
Did you play Darkwatch? This feels like a spiritual successor with more modern mechanics.

This game is absolutely excellent. I played it through only once so far and solved everything the straightforward way...but there are some alternate routes for people who want to play multiple times.

All in all, A+. Really enjoyed it. A good little 3-4 hour adventure.

...the horror elements get a little overplayed at times...but it isn't too scary.

Enjoyed this immensely. Just the right difficulty. A little short, but worth the price. I do wish they would make another.

I am enjoying the game. It feels cool to take down punks while being protected by a large amount of armor. There are some cerebral parts of the game that feel weird at times, but overall the missions, story and gameplay has been fun.
