Great story overall and good political scenes. Has less puzzle and heat regulation compared to its predecessor. I found it much easier as well to "win," compared to Frostpunk 1 (I started on officer difficulty which was recommended for a veteran). I enjoyed being the captain, as was rightfully my duty. Seems to have some replayability as I would like to explore other options.

*Spoiler alerts*
I was peaceful with all factions in the end and made everyone happy. It is possible if you navigate carefully.

BIG Yikes. It's basically albion online minus the code and graphics. Lack of programming skills and poor optimization with poor server stability and poor FPS. Problems with hit and dodge registration; sometimes bullets pass through enemies without harm, sometimes enemy missiles clearly miss you but you take damage. The UI is simplistic, the controls are clunky, the graphics are dated. Just play albion if you want this style instead. This game will likely never release or will release in the current noodle code and string art it's currently at. Save the money, and toss me a sub instead :D Or at least a follow <3

So, I almost never write a bad review. In fact, this is one game where I was hopeful would turn out even remotely average in terms of battle royales. Let's start with the good: Vampire themed. It's fun to suck the blood from an NPC to recover your health.

And now...the bad: Game is poorly optimized and I'm running on medium end pc specs, the game world is devoid of life, of cars driving, of many people (It's a city), and of passion. There is a lot of copy paste in the game world in terms of buildings/trees/doodads, etc. The game is heavily imbalanced in terms of weaponry (spammy/spraynpray guns will do the best, surprise). I was opting to melee and my opponent just kept jumping and because of the jumps, my melee attacks would miss. The game lacks meaningful customization with selected presets (3 faces, 3 outfits, etc) but comes with a battlepass right away in your face to buy. The vampires lack passion and the vampire abilities are poor; most of the time you just want to spray and pray your machine gun rather than use a vampire ability. It's basically a pubg reskin and you forget you're a vampire after a while. Another HUGE imbalance is the spawn system: The first people to click on a spawn location are locked in there and other players can no longer select around there making it a clicking simulator. This creates an advantage to get to the high loot areas first. Additionally, in group play, there is no group leader spawns for everyone, no, instead each player has to click and because of this system, the chances you get split up are higher than other battle royale games and that's bad. The game also features the same problems as other battle royales (low skill ceiling/high rng). The audio is also very choppy and the sounds are not representative of location; loud sounds but they're far away. I was coming into this beta to give advice to the developers but this is such a poor execution that I question whether this project was just a blatant cash grab with minimal effort. I can make a better world in unreal engine by myself. And I just started learning it. When you remember this game's competition is Apex legends, you're taken by surprise how this game feels like it was made 15 years ago. Also, in terms of vampire abilities and fun gameplay, I recall Nosgoth which was a lot more fun and representative of meaningful vampire/human abilities.

Iron Harvest is a game that still needs some polish; there are some Company of Hero RNG stylesque cover mechanics and hit RNG mechanics that make it fun albeit less competitive for an actual e-sport title. The campaign is amazing so far and the graphics are stunning when your computer can run everything on its highest. I still think it needs balancing and more maps as well as more players but it's definitely worth checking out especially if you want a casual single player story or fun with friends custom gameplay. If you are looking for a serious RTS e-sport, this game is not there yet. Check me out as I stream this title at Twitch.TV/ArchonSC2 and feel free to ask further questions. I'm always happy to help.

I've been enjoying this game so far and I feel like the bugs it has is mildly entertaining and not critically game-breaking bugs. These will be fixed as the patches roll out (There's already been 4 big patches in the last few days) and this game is definitely worth the price for a very enjoyable and immersive single player RPG experience. The story is fun and you can get attached to the players in the game for better or worse. The game will get better with time so if you want a seamless bug free experience such as visual animation bugs (person sitting without a chair every 15 hours kinda thing) then play it in a few weeks. Streaming at twitch.tv/archonsc2 if you want to see the game out for yourself; I'm doing a very hard playthrough and I'll be happy to answer any questions you have about the game!

Gears tactics is a fun game that players would enjoy if they like playing xcom and have knowledge of the gears universe. The controls are realistic and immersive and the actions are simple and understandable. The classes are distinct and useful though some difficulties such as insane force you to play a very certain way with reliance on good rng but that's okay. This review was not sponsored though I do stream at twitch.tv/Archonsc2 with some gameplay highlights and footage. If you would like to sponsor a review for a game title, please contact me. Thank you.
