Early Access Review
First time I've written a review for any game negatively. While I can say that Pax Dei is fun when you craft, gather, build and have an idea of what you want to do. Clans are fun to join communities and see dungeons. However, the recent changes have tarnished any good will the devs had in the recent months.

I was looking forward to Verse 3 but with the changes to making it a Subscription model that takes away the plots from people who put $80 into the game feels like a complete robber baron bait-and-switch to try and get a cash flow. I get it, I feel the devs who are putting passion into this game, and I see the potential. But, I can't support taking away things I've purchased only to be told "Well you gotta buy them again, and monthly" I lose interest.

I hope Verse 3 is good, and that they change the idea that any new players as of today don't get plots, and anyone before inherit plots. But if not, well, I won't be coming back. Sorry. Best of luck.

Pros about the game:
* Community
* Building (its actually amazing and while a bit clunky it can be a lot of fun)
* Dungeons (want to know more)

Cons:
* Subscription required for the reason of the game
* Before Verse 3, combat was point and click with some abilities that made no sense
* Lack of population density
* No story/quest

Devil May Cry has always had a huge staple in my life of "hack-n-slash" titles; and DmC does not change that one bit. Despite what everyone says that he's not the actual Dante; or that he doesn't act the same. It makes no difference to me, this is more of a re-imagining of a series that started back in 2001. It looks gorgeous and has a smooth fighting system, much like a-kin to Bayonetta and other 60FPS titles. If you are looking for a challenging, yet awesome experience (with an amazing soundtrack to boot) this is definitely something you should pick up.
