I usually 100% games, but just like Detroit: Become Human, I will not be replaying this game. Too good of a story where choices actually make is seem like they matter, emotions are felt and you get really invested.

Cozy but turns out not my type of game

Between the cheaters and spawn pvp, I've changed my opinion to not worth the money at all. You'll have fun while you get put into new player lobbies but the second you're out, because the cheaters don't get banned, you don't surpass them, you just end up getting put in the same lobby as them.

In short:
>Spawn PvP is out of control - 30 minute raids but within 60 seconds you get combat on spawn
>Cheaters. Enough said on that one

Extra for the devs: Related to my review before edit: Too many players per lobby. Keep the spawn count, shift them a bit and lower player count to make the game seem more dynamic. Implement an anti cheat, if one exists, upgrade it cuz current one doesn't suck nearly enough cheaters out of the game.

I did not do the expedition, it was a scam. Make it more worthwhile; ie, why remove the life long collection of blueprints which enable you to play the game in the first place, that are also RNG. Learn from past games, RNG is bad and kills games so introduce some sort of blueprint buy system if you are mentally stuck on dying on a hill of "Wiping blueprints is a good idea"

Can't complete a game without crashing. Trash to avoid

They went for the bag with Epic a while ago instead of long term sustainability and look at the ♥♥♥♥ they're throwing up from all that money.
- No updates (No, new car with same hitbox every 3 days is not an udpate)
- Removing code (Hot Take! Good features being removed is bad, crazy right)
- Dismantled the community (Because the definitions of community means completely split up)
- Took away trading (They are better at looting money than loot goblins)

What we get as compensation? Donation and offerings like a church begging for money in corporate suits with 3 assistants, cooks, 4 housekeepers, 3 servants, car, gas, clothing and food allowances in each of their 4 villas and 5 startup companies with a money laundering side hustle for the lols

200 glorious hours in game. 400 spectacularly times crashing.
10/10 would crash again

Story is fine at best I guess, nothing that will be remembered in a year.
Animations are lacking but the art style can be fun despite some areas lacking a bit detail and some models can be hilariously bad compared to others (I'm looking at the trees man hahaha)

I'd still recommend on a discount

Short and simple;

The first game to make me emotional in any way.
The first game to make me feel like my choices matter - which, while the game is heading in a certain direction, a LOT of the game can actually be influenced

The first true single player, story driven, "choice" driven, game that I love and probably won't ever forget... and for that reason, while it's replayable, I will never be playing again despite regretting a couple of choices near the end. It's too beautiful to ever change the story that my decisions have created especially when I hear all the other amazing stories my friends have told me about since I finished it, what decisions they made and how it affected their stories.

Solid 10/10 - would go back in time and play it for the first time again
