I love this game. As a kid I always wanted a story-rich fantasy game that allows you to do whatever you wanted. As of now, this is the closest game to that dream. My only qualms are the handling of the endings. It was pretty abrupt and lackluster after such a content-rich and thrilling adventure.

My prayers are answered, they fixed the ending. Even almost after 2 years of release and the devs are still releasing updates, simply lovely.

Enslaved the furries under the name of the Emperor, and purged the xeno scum.

Cant even play a game i pay for, well ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ done games for windows live, thanks for wasting my 10 hours of my time trying to find a solution for this error.

Tried to host a server for my friends and I to play,Gets bald from ripping my hair out trying to figure out how to host one,11/10 would try hosting again.

YES FINALLY YOU CAN JOIN YOUR FRIENDS THROUGH STEAM,but still waiting for my hair to grow back.

Tried to play as Western Roman Empire to revive its glory.Tried taking a new barbarian city,5 factions declared war on me,asked the Eastern Dudes to help but they denied,Empire gets decimated with only the italian peninsula remaining.10/10 would expand Rome again.

What can i say about this game? Well basically,ITS LIKE THE BEST GAME EVER.It brings back so many childhood memories that when i was 6 i loved this game to the core.At the age of 8 my Play Station Malfunctioned so i thought that i will never be able play metal slug again.But now its finally on steam.Well now lets get to the gameplay.The Gameplay is amazing with lots of beautiful details.Good storyline and what more? ITS JUST FKING EPIC.I will just say buy it JUST BUY IT. IT IS AWESOME.

Ohnonnonononoonon this cant be happening.MY FAVOURATE GAME FRANCHISE.JUST.GOT.WORST.First off,NO FAMILY SYSTEMS AND ANY POLITICAL STUFF.NO FAMILY TREE AT ALL,if your general dies,you think his son or his brother or his nephew are going to take revenge yea?NOPE,JUST NOPE.A random dude just come out of nowhere and takes over the command,yup a random dude.There are almost no polish at all,yea maybe a few like grouping cities and villages into regions and provinces yea sure that is a great idea.

Yea there are positives.After the updates the AI got better,sieges are much more playable and the gameplay got smoother.And the positive side is that the positive side of rome 2 is slowly overtaking the negative side,Slowy.But i believe that soon in time Rome 2 will be successful.But still i dont recommend this game just yet,its best if you get it during a sale.

Yup this game is getting better alright,after the announcement of the imperator augustus campaign pack in the emperor edition,i am pumped for it.
