I don't touch the campaigns so cant comment on it, to me anno is at its best in its sandbox city building paradise.

I've loved all the anno games and have been playing since 1701, but this one feels like a bit of a let down already.
Granted its just the base game, so to compare it to 1800 with its huge haul of DLC would be unfair, but the new features they've put in, while I can see the idea behind them, feel very half baked. The tech tree is sluggish to research, things are locked behind walls (kill X amount of ships), the armies/ships taking up a metric ton of population and you very quickly need to have 3 islands, just to satisfy the T2/T3 pops.

I personally haven't encountered any bugs, but honeslty, as much as it pains me to say, leave this game for a while. Let the dev team cook a little bit more on what was clearly not ready for release and come back in a year or so time.

Also the AI artwork, don't get me started on using AI in a triple A game. This is the only Ubisoft title I consider a worth while buy, but if they continue to use AI, I'll just continue to play 1800.

Love the game, really fun and enjoyable. Completely different take on the classic city builder.

However as someone who stopped playing after Green Planet I'm saddened to see that the asteroids bug with waste rock being the only thing loaded is STILL in the game, 6? years after it was first discovered.

If you play and ignore the asteroids (which is a shame), then its easily a 8/10, the UI is really nice and it runs alot smoother on the same PC than the original did.
If you want the game you paid for back in 2017 to be fixed, then its a 3/10

Managed Democracy prevails.

Sony backed down on linking PSN accounts to steam, helldivers can continue to dive together from all over the world.

Early Access Review
Feels like a updated, modern take on Banished and the likes, with a tiny bit of combat thrown in.

Very bare bones at the moment (a lot of "coming soon"), however the dev can be extremely proud of his work, it's a lot of fun & beautiful to look at and play in this world.

GAME IS ABANDONED, DO NOT BUY IT, PERIOD. DON'T BUY IT EVEN IF ITS ON SALE.

I can't remember ever leaving a negative review for a game until now.

Massive trekkie so as soon as I saw this was coming out it was wishlisted and then bought, but being a paradox game I understood its one of those "come back in a few months" type of games.
Until now, being completely dropped by paradox and no more updates.

The game itself is just.. well, bad.
It's a very old version of Stellaris, it's lacking alot of features from QoL to just being able to do things that a trek game should.
This game alone ha me questioning if I should be looking at paradox games for a day one purchase (CS2 also now added to that pile). In fact it's so bad that I never even finished the main story line, just couldn't face playing it with the jank and bugs.

TLDR:
Do NOT buy it, EVER. Not even on a sale in its current form.
Buy Stellaris instead and download the Trek mod, it's vastly superior in all ways.

Great management/tower game.

I spotted this thanks to a youtube video a month or so ago and soon as it came onto EA I picked it up.
Is it finished? No, not even close, but this is what Early Access is for and feels like a fancier version of a demo (with the full game along the road).

Managed to waste a couple of hours into it and it feels very promising, chaotic and fun. You can see the plans they have (such as photographer) in their road map, but also in game with the news of South America & Europe currently being locked.

Well worth it especially if they manage to deliver on the roadmap.

The queue times are forcing me to do things I should have done days ago. I'm actually cleaning my desk and area! 10/10 would recommend for a cleaning simulator.

Fantastic co-op game that keeps getting better, Overkill really do appreciate their player base, releasing DLC aswell as free DLC every now and then :).

If its on sale, get it!
