I wholly recommend this, and I give thanks to Her Smouldering Majesty for granting me and many other Viceroys the privilege of living. Only by her mercy do I have the blessed opportunity to please the Scorched Queen and bring glory to her fiery dominion.

If you are truly capable of managing resources and your citizenry whilst attending to the dangers of the glades in a timely fashion, you'll assuage her impatience and earn the right to continue on in your duties as Viceroy. With the ability to choose easier/harder expeditions with rewards to match, as well as choosing where you found settlements, you will quickly find the right amount of challenge for yourself and bring glory to the Smouldering City. You will also have a variety of races you could bring with you on your expeditions, each with their own job strengths and preferences. Keep your people fed, happy, and maintain stocks of any and every item in your warehouses. The more variety of goods you hold, the increased likelihood you can address and rectify dangerous glade events post-haste.
