I hope Monster Hunter Wilds doesn't follow this pattern.

This game is pure chaos, in a good way! It's probably the most fun multiplayer shooter I've ever played.

Pretty fun, indeed. It's an easy pick if you like bullet hell.

Utterly confusing game.

I tried many times to play this game but only now I was able to go through it without giving up. It's a shallow game in many aspects. The combat can be fun with cool move sets and monsters to fight but the game isn't confident about it so it gives you ways to cheese the hell out of it. You only die in this game if you don't know how to use items or don't have enough in stock, otherwise you are invincible. Very boring story, world and quests. There are like dozens more bad game design choices/execution, like stealh, magic system, equipment, exploration, camera angles, taking photos, progression, buffs, night visibility, driving... you name it. Audio which usually is one of the strong aspects of the series also doesn't deliver, it could've been superb but many of the good songs you will hear it's going to be in a brief moment and most of the time are annoying songs that don't belong in a Final Fantasy game, even when you choose the song you want to listen manually, the game cuts off with some enemy interaction or loading screen. It feels like a rushed game even though they took 10 years to make it. To be fair with Square Enix they made some of the best are RPGs I've played with Chrono Trigger and FFX. Looking forward to play FFVII when it comes out on PC.

i finished the game with roughly 22 hours and a I enjoyed every second of it, nothing is boring in this game. I don't like to play anything that is extended with no purpose beside making the game longer so I think this game is about quality and excels in everything it does. Sound, graphics, story and gameplay are 10/10 this game is an amazing experience.

This game is way ahead of its time. One of the best single player shooters if not the best.
