This is one of the best games I've ever played.

Not just the one of the best adult games -- the one of the best _games_. It's up there with Mass Effect 1 for worldbuilding -- what's it like to live in a world where succubi exist as people? How do humans (and other species) react, and integrate?

(Side note: don't let the time played fool you -- I completed the game before it came to Steam (as much as was out).

The characters are great too -- they're all unique, fleshed out, and feel like people and not just archetypes. And yes, they're quite attractive, and the sex scenes are enjoyable and varied. They each track their approval of your decisions throughout the game, though fortunately it's not too hard to keep everyone happy because they generally want the same things as you (that's why they're your allies).

I'm a sucker for societies and high politics, which this game delivers in spades, alongside the standard fantasy sword & sorcery tropes. You'll make decisions for nations, attend summits, and try to influence discussions and voting both directly and indirectly (my favorite part was agreeing to vote against a proposal in exchange for a favor, then convincing enough other people to support it that it passed anyway).

Finally, it pleases my optimizer brain. You can play it perfectly well blind, but I love diving into the mechanics of the game and figuring out how to squeeze every ounce of reward from it. There's a comprehensive wiki that explains how everything works, and the game absolutely rewards those who put in the effort to perfect their playthroughs. It's not the sort of game you can simply breeze through, though -- I restarted twice when I realized I wasn't taking it seriously enough, and it deserved more from me.

If you're on the fence...play through the prologue. The whole thing. I started out snickering at the obvious porn trope parody, but got hooked by the ending and now here I am. Seriously, try it out. It's great.
