The controls are absolutely abysmal. What were they thinking?

Shooting anything is a ♥♥♥♥♥ since it's hard to trail your shots. Seems like your bullets spray everywhere but can't hit the enemy that's right in front of you.

The biggest issue really is how you roll whenever you make ANY turn. It feels horrible and makes me sick.. Using a mouse only makes this worse.

The default controls for the controller are laughable too. Why are there two Snap turn buttons for different directions when both of them turn you 180 degrees anyway. Nice extra visual I guess but I think it's a waste of a button that could be used for something else, like dodge rolling..

Why the hell is the accelerate, brake and dodge roll mechanic all mapped to the right thumbstick?? Many times when I'm trying to slow down or speed up I end up rolling too because my thumb might drift to the right or left while I'm trying to perform a simple turn. Good thing you can just bounce off of objects like you're made of rubber, because you'll be doing that constantly.

All of this adds up to a cumbersome experience, because the controls themselves make it so hard to be precise. Sure you can rebind some controls to fix the dodge roll problem, but the lack of precision means that dog fights take 10 times longer to get through..

There are other issues with the design of the menus and the visual look itself but all those issues are dwarfed by how bad this game controls/feels. It's so unfortunate because there's stuff to appreciate here too. I tried the demo because the arcade style of gameplay really interests me. It just feels like the developers didn't even play their own game..

C.A.N.T.S.E.E.S.H.I.T. 2

Game is good with exception to a few things

Quick glaring issues:
- Enemies spawning in front of you (As in right behind a pillar you're looking at)
- Enemies spawning immediately after killing off an enemy squad
- Enemies spawning in the same area you just killed them in (so you never feel like you've cleared/secured an area)

And finally the biggest issue that requires it's own paragraph, the lighting! Oh god the lighting! Better learn QUICK how to turn on that flashlight because the game sure won't tell you! It's either too dark or too bright. I need a flashlight to search houses in broad daylight!! You end up in situations where the sun's shining in the window like a super nova but yet the gas lantern sitting next to the window can't even illuminate more than 10 inches of the table. You think it's as easy as changing the gamma right? NO! There's THREE SETTINGS FOR BRIGHTNESS! Contrast, Brightness and Gamma. What's the difference between Gamma and Brightness? Trying to get a slightly brighter picture requires balancing these 3 settings while trying not to turn your screen grey!

Regardless! I'm enjoying it and this is about what I expected.
Something that works most of the time just as long as you don't stare at it funny. <3

Please either add a search option for the mods or make the workshop accessible on steam.

Expecting people to filter by upload date, title, etc is absolutely maddening.

This is compounded even more when you view a mod then back out, only for the browser to forget your filter and what page you were on.

Edit: THEY FIXED IT!

It's pretty fun.

Edit: Performance has gotten worse and I can't even play that many games anymore without getting kicked for suspected cheats. (TFAV8005)

The ironic thing is reporting this as an issue leads to sarcastic responses from people because they think we're cheating and avoiding responsibility. The fact that this has gone on for a year tells me the developers have no interest in fixing this false positive.

RIP The Finals, it's been fun...

Early Access Review
Scratches my CS itch in a very digestible form. It reminds me of my computer architecture class but less traumatizing.

The only issue I have is how it attempts to briefly teach De Morgan's Law with a quick description and example. It's so basic I don't think the majority of the people outside of CS or EE would understand why it's even mentioned.

I also wonder if somehow integrating boolean algebra would help users to simplify their circuits and in turn better explain De Morgan's Law.

I dig it.

If you have knowledge of gaming history, you'll really get the meta humor.

I can see how someone can make a religion around this.

Not as good as BFBB, but I didn't expect it to be. It's more comparable to games like SBSP: Movie game or Creature from the Krusty Krab.

Puzzles and level designs are simplified to the point where messing up is just a mere inconvenience.

It's *kinda* open world but levels unlock linearly and it's less focused on being a collect-athon like BFBB. Instead you collect things for separate side quests that NPCs will give you.

They do take a lot of assets from previous games so you'll feel right at home, but the game does lack polish in some places. For example, golden spatulas are in this game, BUT I have NO IDEA what they're for... That's kind of a big problem don't you think.?

With all of the being said, there's almost NO REASON to collect anything. And I do mean anything.. Gold coins will eventually unlock different skins for Spongebob which can be purchased using jelly. (Jelly is equivalent to the shiny things in BFBB) That's basically it..

If I were to rank it I'd put this game just above the Movie game and below Creature from the Krusty Krab.

The biggest thing I miss from the older games is the writing style and the old type of humor it had. It's NEW Spongebob humor/writing, so don't expect it to feel like BFBB, otherwise you'll be severely disappointed.
