My priority was finding you to either unhook or take protection hits to get you out the trial. The Jeff was fully healed and the gate 99%ed. If he died it was because he played poorly. He could have just waited by the gate if he didn't feel confident saving you.

All 3 of us were at the gate. I healed the Jeff because he was injured. We then 99%ed the gate. You were injured and in chase so we went looking for you to take protection hits. Maybe next time after you loose the killer don't ♥♥♥♥ around for a while and give enough time for the killer to take out the weakest player and instead come to the door.
