Not saying anything you haven't already heard, I just think it's neat. Smooth gameplay, addictive loop, both dying and progressing are rewarding. Strikes a great balance between story and gameplay, dialogues are always quick and rich, developing over the course of your time playing. Fantastic musical score. Happy 5th anniversary, Hades.

Love the fusion of Japanese horror and eldritch themes; the visual aesthetic is extremely appropriate, and the musical aesthetic is also good, surprisingly catchy. Right now there's like, maybe, two jumpscares, which is good for someone who does not like jumpscares. I've always loved mystery thriller types, so the gameplay of this game is right up my alley, and the RNG element makes it interesting and unpredictable every time.

However, the randomness can be mastered, so you're not completely at its mercy; the more you know the game, the better you can prepare for the mysteries ahead. Content is still being added and there's still a lot to unlock, especially if you're starting out late like me. Little things like color palettes and seed-choosing give it a fun and personal touch,
