There are lots of other mountain climbing games, but none make you feel like every foothold, wall, and hand placement matter than Cairn. The relief you feel after ascending a wall is so satisfying. Also, the survival mechanics make climbing more interesting as it involves experimentation, resource management, and more. The amount of times I ran out of food or water so I have to rush to find supplies creates great tension. Overall, a great time and very stressful (but enjoyable.)

If you like Tactical Strategy Games like XCOM, Mario+Rabbids, then this is a fun experience in the genre. While many will buy it due to McMillin, if you do not like Tactics games or Rogue-lites, than this isn't for you. Otherwise, it's amazing, fun, and has many interesting strategies to explore.

I have only played the Skate 3 Demo for 100s of hours as a kid so anything skate is a step up. I don't care about grittiness or the monetization. All I have ever wanted was something that feels like Skate 3; this feels like skate 3. Messing around the city and doing tricks, lines, glitches, and parkour is so much casual fun.

My only gripe is that because it is live-service, there are queues and server hitches, but those are not as common as you would think.

There is a lot of potential but there are some things I wish could be improved:
- Better camera for the dropping of pins/confirmation
- Steps prematurely end when trying to line stuff up.

But it's a cozy fun geoguessr game that I could see myself playing.

Chill and fun to bike around. Can't wait for the full game!

If you are expecting just a puzzle/exploration rogue-like, you got some of it. The real meat and potatoes of the game is note taking and screenshotting. There are a ton of secrets hidden by lore, codes, and special synergies with items and rooms. Experimentation and using the knowledge you gain to progress further is how you play.

I will admit, getting the right rooms and items to get to the end is daunting and sometimes impossible, but there are ways to manipulate the odds which makes it more pheasable. However, the most infuriating part is getting an item that corresponds to a specific room that you may or may not have even seen before. So you have to pray to RNG to get the room in the right spot to unlock something.

I do like how much note taking is a part of the game, but it's also hard to tell what is lore related and what is a obscure clue. Newspaper clippings, portraits of people, books, even note cards. Everything could be a clue for something. Be sure to take screenshots for future reference!

Im 12 hours in and got 0 achievements. I did make it to the final room, but I knew there was more going on. Can't wait to spend another 12 hours trying to unlock 1 achievement.

I loved shapez.io and now the sequel is all I hoped for. Hard modes, Lots of new features, Very intuitive. It's addicting for a factory builder.

The puzzle game that will probably take you months to 100%. Very fun and challenging.

Fun game. If this game continues to give us good content updates regularly, I can see this being a fun stream/party game to come back to.
