Every so often a game is made that actually looks and feels like a modern game and this is the current one. Graphics are on point. The depth of the attention to detail in the look and feel of the game to the books is quite impressive.

No comments on the story to stay away from spoilers, Although it's pretty good so far.

This is a great game for fast pace "run and gun" or tactical. Don't think you will be disapointed if you play this if you are into FPS or MilSims

It's one thing to produce a game and release it into Early Access. It's another to release it under the guise of a final product even though it plays like a beta. I'll give you some slack for multiplayer wonkyness if your servers buckle under the load...but in this case they are offloading the multiplayer workload to the host of the coop. Even worse the delay compensation software destroys the frames of the host, literally cutting them in half. Game seems half-baked and rushed to market. It's a shame that we have to contend with this low level of expectations on games these days. Maybe someone that knows what they are doing will come along and make a game that can scale to hardware better and isn't riddled with bugs to the point that they include "features" to deal with the bugs in-game.

Empyrion is the largest Sandbox survival game you can play currently. Tons of stuff to explorer and sights to take in. The graphics are not going to take home any awards but they are decent. The real shame is the audio design...its horrible. The sound levels are all over the place and some sound choices are just crap. This is the biggest flaw of the game currently. Yeah the game has a few glitches and the low client/server sync rate does cause issues in some battles but battles with other ships feels epic and can take anywhere from 5 mins to an hour some times unless you are tag teaming a ship. Can't say i have had that experience in any other game. That is what makes this game such an amazing game.
